Wow, I agree that there is a strong resemblence there! And a cowboy boot! I hope LE does check this out!

I hope this turns out, it would be great. But as far as the cowboy boot and Texas resemblance... I wouldn't think to much of that. Very few Texas women wear boots, its all in the movies. Not these days anyway. Don't get me wrong, some do- but alot of people think just because your from Texas.... well its not like that anymore.

Crimehater I agree with you... but stereotypes die hard!

On the other hand, if you were in warm Texas, and were being surprised with a trip to the frozen north, where you would be walking around a lot... wouldn't you wear your comfy boots?

Well, the boots, I was thinking of farm/ranch life. She surely would have had a pair of boots. And...if she was planning on coming north at that time of year, she would probably have brought them.

But true, stereotyping. :slap:

Ok guys, just got an e-mail from Kathy's sister-in-law Kim Mundy about the tip for the Jane Doe found in NJ that I contacted LE about and it's not her. She thanked us for caring so much and I let her know about this site and that we will continue to look into anything else that comes our way so hopefully she will visit but now knows others are interested and actively interested in finding Kathy.

Sheriff’s Dept. Look For Clues In Denton Cold Case

It’s been almost two years since a school teacher from Denton County disappeared and investigators are still hoping for clues to help close the case.

Katherine Stobaugh wanted a divorce. She met with her husband Charles at his ranch, a few nights after Christmas 2004 and no one has seen her since.

For 15 years Katherine's brother Chris Munday has solved crimes that victimize other families. Now, there’s always one case that’s on his mind.

Has this turned into a cold case? I really felt this case would be solved. I wonder if they are still looking at the ex-husband?

Sounds to me like he is probably guilty. She went to his ranch to talk about a divorce and is never seen again!!!! I wonder if she isn't buried somewhere on that ranch? Did they ever find her vehicle?

Part of the family's anger has been partially invoked by a videotape of an argument between the missing teacher, Katherine Stobaugh, and the primary suspect in the case, her estranged husband.

Stobaugh secretly videotaped conversations and arguments with her husband, Charles Stobaugh."

I was jumping for joy when I saw this on the news last night. I hope they get a conviction, and I really hope he coughs up the location of her body.
