ATLANTA, Texas --A 64-year-old Cass County woman is still missing.

Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens and Cass County deputies are searching for Kathleen Spanel, who has been missing since Sept. 18.

Spanel is often confused and has hallucinations but is nonviolent, according to officials. She left home without medicine, money, or identification, and may have walked along state Highway 77 in Atlanta.

Spanel is 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs about 130 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees a person matching this description is asked to call 911.

Sunday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens began searching for a missing woman named Kathleen Spanel, then around 2:30 Sunday afternoon an official Silver Alert was issued from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
