Do we know anything about the actual church group holding the service that night?

The only thing I have seen mentioned was "Spanish", so I'm assuming that was the primary language services were held in. Other than that, nothing that I can find. I had read somewhere it was a small church of about 100, but that may have been referring to the actual congregation of the 'home' church to that building. Prayer nights IME, usually have much smaller crowds than a Sunday service.

Ohhhh this makes my heart sink. How close is it to the church, exactly? In the twitter pic of the church, it didn't look like it had much in the way of neighbors?

A local poster upstream had mentioned this restaurant:

First thing I would do in the investigation is get all the names of the customers at Taco el Conquistador last night. That restaurant's a local favorite and is right next door to the church. I'd imagine LE could find additional (at this point unknowing) witnesses and possibly their suspect.

Not sure if this is routine canvassing, or if there is some kind of lead...the back of the truck is open...evidence collection or no?

Someone mentioned yesterday that the restaurant would be a good place to investigate. Does anyone see cameras?

Police and FBI present?

That sounds like a whole lot of people for it not to be a lead :(

"Family members tell us she was playing in the lobby of the Bullard First Assembly Church while her mother was inside the main area of the church for a prayer service. It was around 7:30 p.m. when her family realized she was missing, and an Amber Alert was issued a few hours later.

The local sheriff is now also getting help from the FBI, the Texas Rangers, the U.S. Marshalls, and other local law enforcement. At this point the FBI said it’s considered a missing person case, but they are investigating the possibility she was kidnapped. Kayla’s older brother Chris Gomez is convinced someone took her.

“She was taken. Last time we seen her, she was in the lobby at the church, and there’s… it was at night. She’s not going be playing outside at night. We’re just devastated about it,” Gomez said."

robbery there unsure as of now if it is connected, seems a funny coincidence... http://www.cbs19.tv/news/local/poli...-where-kayla-gomez-orozco-last-seen/346988281

Funny, I was wondering if the restaurant might have some involvement, I mean I was looking closely at it on streetview to see if it had any cameras, checking opening times. When was it robbed? I mean, with the police presence the last 2 days you would have to be pretty dumb right? Hmmm Dunno what to make of that

unsure of when, though it says that the police were called after a report this morning... to me that seems very fishy. i hope they have cameras...

That is what I have been trying to determine this morning and I have found no information. It would be really nice if this was a parental abduction because that is the only way I see this ending well.

( just like with Diana Alvarez.. :( )
