I am curious as to where Kayla's home is as well as family members homes. I am trying to understand the timeline. I am also curious as to why the cousin was not at church that evening yet her husband was with their 2 year old. I am thinking maybe she was at work and did not actually see him at home after 5 minutes and that is just what he told her. My thoughts are that as soon as it was discovered that Kayla was missing the family would have all gone to the church to look for her and meet with the police. For him not to be there as one of the last nown to see her would have been a bright red flag. Even if he used that the 2 year old was in bed LEO would have gone to question him immediately.

I'm working on it now. I can only put it on the map if it's been identified (MSM/LE) There has been photos of Kaylas home in the media and it's been identified to be in the Knollwood subdivison by MSM, which is in Tyler. I'm on streetview looking for the correct house now. Other addresses I will have to wait for the info and the verification before adding

The whole "uncle" debate is driving me nuts. There are many families that refer to adult family members and close friends as uncle and aunt even if they are not a sibling to a parent. In this case I believe (due to the last name and it being hyphenated sometime between 2014 and now) the relation is that the Uncle, who has been quoted is the father of the wife of the cousin who last saw Kayla at the church and is the one who is suspected. I am wondering if some confusion isn't that maybe the real uncle didn't relay the confession and lead LEO to where to find her but he was not the guilty party. I would not be surprised if the cousin husband does not speak english very well. I am basing that off of his wife speaking for him and the wording of it. I am also curious about his legal status as he had immigration issues in 2014 and is now being held on an immigration hold.

If he was indeed arrested yesterday. The immigration hold was likely outstanding. Arresting him on that charge allowed them to get him off the streets, as well as allow time for the charges related to Kayla. Search warrants, probable cause, all take time.
