I know it sounds crazy that Dad's story could be true... but we've seen crazy things happen. I hope the police are not falling into the confirmatory bias trap here. They need to keep an open mind even if they are personally convinced someone is guilty. It's imperitive if our justice system is to work.

If the Dad's story is actually true then they need to find that baby! They change so fast and in a couple of months he will look totally different. He needs to be found quickly regardless of the circumstances.

They need to run parallel investigations here. One assuming the story is true, looking for an abducted baby. Another if they believe there never was an abduction. This doesn't strike me as the type where a parent got rid of a child... but I admit the abduction is also an unusual circumstance... so I just hope they have rock solid evidence of whatever they decide happened here.

In any event, LE needs to look for the baby.

I just watched the video of the woman walking down the street with the car seat. If the car seat were empty, I would think she would have dumped it by then and not continued to carry it. IMO

I think that is a good point, unless she wanted to keep the baby. If that is the case, baby could be missing but cared for.

Reading through that article I found it interesting the mother was so focused on how great of a father the man was and how the police are not doing anything, or at least not what she thinks they should be doing, to find her baby. It could be editing, but there wasn't really a plea to bring her baby back, talk about how devastated she is, how she can't sleep, or a real show of concern for her child. Again, it might be the editing of the article, but it seemed really off to me.

I felt the same. Add to that the past tense she uses when speaking about her child ... something feels not right. jmo

If they arrested the father, there must be major inconsistencies in their stories. You can't arrest a grieving father of a missing child just because you don't like his attitude. JMO

IMO LE is looking for the baby, unfortunately, IMO, I don't think they are looking for a live baby.

Oh no! Heartbreaking for whoever's family is going to get the awful news. I can't help but feel it is King. I guess many of us have heard this same old story so many times. "The baby was abducted!" I was hoping it would turn out differently this time even though I new there was little hope of that.

I’ve been following this since it began. I am hoping and praying that this isn’t him. Such a cute baby! I will never understand how anyone can hurt a baby!

Oh my..

I'm trying to ignore this thread so that what I believe happened to this darling boy will not be confirmed. If this is King and if the father (parents?) is culpable, I hope there is evidence to convict.

I hope this baby is found.
Did anyone think it odd on the video that the woman walking across the street was going to the left and made an abrupt turn to the right at the end of the video, maybe like she saw her ride? I don't think she is from that neighborhood.

My thought was she saw the camera and immediately made the right turn to dodge it.

Is the camera on a house? Had she proceeded toward the camera, what was around there?

Is anyone familiar with this park? The camera panned to the side and they showed a boat on a trailer. I'm wondering if the body was found in water.

ETA: After some research, it appears that Leon Creek runs through the park. I'm not sure big the creek is or if they would need a boat to search it.

Oh no! Same old ending I imagine.

The parents may have 10 children, however, I bet they don’t all live together. After this, there will be zero children living with either parent.

JMO, a parent looking like this father is not an influence to any young person. I can’t imagine his temper or personality is suited to being a father!
