I’m having no luck finding anything on the murder or the discovery of this body. NamUs mentions newspaper articles so I’m assuming some exist somewhere. I’ll keep looking!

ETA: It could possibly be that the murder in question took place or originated in another county (and prior to November) but happened to lead to the discovery in Kleberg County. I’ll try expanding my search to surrounding counties.
