MISSING: Kolby William Kulhanek (10/14/18)

The active search for 25 year old Kolby William Kuhlanek will begin Sunday, October 21, at 10:00AM. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATV. The Search Command Center will be located at 8633 Village Slough, Lumberton, TX 77657. Please dress appropriately for the forecast weather conditions, very thick, brushy terrain, insects, snakes, etc. Please bring insect repellent, water and snacks. 10/20/18. Kolby was last seen October 14, 2018. His car was found abandoned Thursday, 10/ 18/ 18. He was wearing black shorts and a black shirt and has a sleeve on his left arm. Body of missing Lumberton man found
At approximately 2:00 p.m. today, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of Kolby William Kulhanek, 24 of Lumberton.

He had been reported missing for a week.

A helicopter crew from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Division spotted the body near a dirt pit in the 9400 block of Cooks Lake Rd in Lumberton.

LE seems very tight lipped. They might have some leads IMO. I’m not local but have been to that area. Drugs are rampant. Poverty as well.
