• The victim was discovered on August 18, 2007 in Lake Arlington, Arlington, Texas
• Estimated Date of Death: 1 week - 2 months prior

• Estimated age: 16-21 years old
• Approximate Height and Weight: 5'2"-5'4"; 140-170 lbs
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair. A benign bony tumor behind and above the right ear and a pierced navel.
• Dentals: Available. The victim has an overbite.
• Clothing: "Fred is Red" brand, yellow panties with a chick graphic and the words "CHICKS RULE" (size 8); and "Derek Heart" brand, capri length gray stretch pants (size large). She was also wearing a small metal cross on a necklace.

Shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday, Randy Lee Wilson, 28, was arrested in connection with the death of 20-year-old Brittany Elizabeth Rapoza. Wilson was arrested on a murder warrant during a traffic stop in Fort Worth by the Arlington Fugitive Unit with assistance from Fort Worth police. . ."

Grant said that he, Wilson, Rapoza, Yeager, and Garcia drove to Lake Arlington in the late evening of August 13, 2007. When they arrived, Wilson and Rapoza got out of the car and walked away by themselves. Roughly fifteen minutes later, Grant went to find them. When he found them, Grant saw Wilson and Rapoza fighting... Grant said that he witnessed Wilson repeatedly stab Rapoza with the knife. According to Grant, Wilson then kicked Rapoza in the stomach and kicked her over a small ledge and into the lake... Grant became scared and ran back to the car. Wilson eventually returned to the car covered in blood, and the remaining four returned to the house of Grant's sister. Grant testified that nothing was said among the four about what had happened to Rapoza...

Yeager said that Wilson became displeased and violent with Rapoza because he thought she “wasn't making enough money.” According to Yeager, “[W]hen [Rapoza] wouldn't feel like going out, or when she didn't bring the right amount of money back... it started out, you know, pushing and slapping and shoving and strangling, and moved on to pretty brutal beatings”...

The State indicted Wilson for murder. The indictment included a repeat offender notice. Wilson pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder and true to the enhancement paragraph. A jury found Wilson guilty and assessed punishment at life imprisonment.
