Family asking for help in finding missing Beaumont mother who was last seen December 9
[...]Laura Gutierrez’s family has not seen or heard from her since December 9, 2022. Her daughter, JS, took to Facebook stating Gutierrez left her wallet and keys at a friend’s house on Avenue B in Beaumont.
Gutierrez did not show up at her sister’s house during the freeze, and the family said they did not hear from her on Christmas.
“I fear something bad has happened to her because my mother missed Christmas with me, her other two daughters, and four of her grandkids, and that is very unusual,” JS said.
Gutierrez’s family describes her as a loving mother and community cook. They said she has never gone this long without contacting them.
“Despite her being homeless, she has never missed Christmas with us," Salazar said. "She has never gone three weeks without contacting us."

Gutierrez has blonde hair. She is described as a 5-foot-2-inch woman who weighs about 115 pounds. She was last seen at the intersection of Avenue C and Wall Street wearing faded pink flip flops.
