I wish they would say more about the box. Was it a cardboard box? Was his car on top of it, making it hard to access the contents, so even had he wanted to he wouldn't see what was in it?

I wonder why he was on the shoulder to begin with, unless he hit the box on the road and when he drove off the shoulder to figure out what happened, the box got caught under the car and was dragged beneath it. Was his car close enough to the road that it would be very likely he would be hit getting out?

So. He wasn't wearing the boots, he was wearing brown shoes. I don't understand how the boots could have been spread out like that, if they started out inside his car.

The family needs to set up a huge plastic banner, right there where it happened, with his pic and the car and ask for information about the car broken down. The sign could read "DID YOU SEE THIS CAR SUPERBOWL SUNDAY RIGHT HERE?" and then a website, and maybe a box of flyers with more details. You know someone saw that, it's flat and there's nothing whatsoever obstructing vision. Whatever happened took longer than a moment with the boots flung around.

It's likely witnesses have no idea about this missing man.

I saw the pics of the camera shots..........he's wearing either cowboy boots or work boots. Actually, it could be both. They tend to call them "western" style work boots.

This may end up being a really nasty case of road rage. Probably at least two perps ganging up on him and maybe even more. Nothing like football and alcohol to get people fired up on Super Bowl Sunday.

He was last seen at 5:30 p.m., which is exactly the same time the game started. It's possible the box that was wedged under the front of his car was actually thrown at him by someone in a passing pickup truck.

Possible scenario: Somebody is tailgating him, he gives them the bird as they pass by, they throw the box out of the vehicle, he hits it with his car and stops. The other vehicle in front also stops and that's when the altercation happens.

Whomever is behind this are some bad hombres, it's pretty damn rare for a road rage fight to end up in an abduction like this. If Lee had been armed, I doubt it would have gotten to this point. I think it's numerous people involved because it appears they were feeding off of each others energy. The alcohol and the strength in numbers made them feel invincible, only God knows if the people in the lead car had been drinking all day or not.


Long story short.........someone definitely witnessed this happening. Also, he' not going to be all that far away I don't believe. The family needs to run up and down all paved and dirt roads within about 4 square miles from where his car was found. I think he was dragged (or carried) to a vehicle, he was then driven out into the country and away from high traffic areas, and he got the s****t beat out of him. Maybe he was shot, maybe he was stabbed, maybe he wasn't. Gotta find him first in order to figure out what happened. The abductors would've pulled onto a secondary road in order to get privacy. The family and searchers will also need to check around any bushes and greenery along the road as well, the attackers may have tried to conceal the crime afterwards.

So that's a Buck's Food and Fuel, and I found on in Falls City. Likely where that was - at the beginning of his drive.

(An aside, but could Bucks be a LITTLE more subtle about ripping off Buc-ees Gas Station name and logo? I'm betting if they get much bigger there may be a lawsuit. A gas station, Bucks or Buc-ees, both using a beaver head as their logo?)

Is it possible the articles found at the scene didn't belong to Lee at all?

Did the boots belong to the box? Did the flashlight belong to someone who had hit Lee trying to find what they'd hit? Did the hat get thrown down in a fight? Hopefully friends or family can identify anything that belongs or does not belong to Lee.

I don't believe finding no blood at the scene necessary eliminates a hit and run. Depending on speed, where on the car he was hit, the size of the vehicle, what happened after the initial impact, etc there may have been no open wounds. Road rash doesn't cause much bleeding and small cuts and scrapes likely wouldn't leave much blood to find. People can also be thrown 100s of feet after being hit by a vehicle, so Lee or blood may have been missed depending on how far LE searched initially.

About those boots.

Maybe he just put his feet in his work boots and left them unlaced until he got to work. That's a long commute.

Sometimes I don't put my red wings (steel toes) on until I get to the site if it is a long drive or If I am running late. Laces...

Cowboy boots don't come off without some effort, even the short ones. If they were cowboy boots, to me it implies, well, greater impact. (That was difficult to type).

I can't tell anything about his footwear from the surveillance shots except that he had some on.

A flashlight and a camo cap were found outside in front of the car. Arms's cell phone and wallet were still inside.

The family says that there were no traces of blood on scene.

The above quote seems to indicate the flashlight was Lee's. The surveillance photos are not great. It's very possible Lee is wearing a dark camouflage cap, even though it's hard to discern in the photos!

In addition, if you go back to page two of this thread and look at the flyer I posted from Missing Pieces Network, there are two pictures of Lee on the flyer and he is wearing a dark camouflage ball cap in both of the pictures. I believe this is the same hat he was wearing in the surveillance photos.

I'm not sure about the rules pertaining to sharing information from the Finding Lee Arms Facebook page so please delete if not allowed. There is a woman who commented that her husband saw Lee's car early morning with another car pulled in behind Lee's. She claims this was before police were alerted to the scene. Her husband can not remember of the make of the car but did recall a camo hat and hiking boots almost under the front end which caught his eye. She also stated her husband claimed no one was around the scene.

I truly hate to even suggest this, but I do think this is something that needs to be considered, so ...:

If Lee was hit by a car while on the side of the road, how far could he have been thrown?

His missing poster says, "His silver Ford Fusion was found abandoned near Loop 1604 and Schuwirth Road in Bexar County, TX," so I looked at the area on Google Earth (link below), and while it looks pretty flat overall, I do see some trees. Could he be stuck in one of them? Or are there any structures nearby along the road, on top of which he could have ended up? Not a likely scenario, but after reading a few articles on people being hit by a vehicle traveling at a high speed and what could happen afterwards (links below; some pretty disturbing ), I thought I would bring it up, just in case ...:
