Waxahachie police are searching for a missing elderly man who was last seen Monday.

<<Leverne Berry, 79, has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment and poses a threat to his own health and safety, according to police. He was last seen at 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Wyatt Street.

Berry was last seen wearing a long-sleeve maroon and beige shirt and blue jeans. He is described by police as a 5-10, 160-pound black man with gray hair and brown eyes.>>
