A geologist found a human skull and bones Tuesday while working in a field near Business Highway 121 and the Sam Rayburn Tollway.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office believes the remains are of a person in their late 40s. The person's gender has not yet been determined or how the person died.

The medical examiner believes the remains may have been in the field for three years or maybe longer.

There are no active missing person cases in Lewisville.

This article says they don't believe she left in a vehicle and that she was last seen at the south end of the airport. DFW airport is HUGE and the area where this UID was found is more than 10 miles away. While it is a possibility, it's unlikely she got that far on foot in the confused state she was in. JMO
