Search Ongoing For Missing Plano Mom Who Drove Car Off The Freeway

Plano police are searching for a 28-year-old woman who drove her car off the freeway into a grove of small trees then fled on foot.

It happened at George Bush Tollway and the exit to Preston Road on Wednesday around 5 p.m.


She wasn’t injured in the crash but left the car on foot without her cell phone or purse or any identification. Her family also said Davis is suffering from severe depression and anxiety.

"Libby Davis, 28, drove off the tollway about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and ran from a grassy area near Preston Road and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Plano, said her mother, Kay Bruner.

Not far from there, police discovered a body face-down in a creek Thursday afternoon. Police hadn't identified the body, but said foul play wasn't suspected."

Foul play not suspected in body of missing Plano mom found in creek

Police say they discovered Davis' body in a creek not far from the accident. They say they do not suspect foul play.
