Human remains were found on a ranch in western Llano County on April 1, 2018.

The Texas State University Forensic Anthropology Center (FACTS) eventually received those remains for analysis and discovered that the remains were from an American white male between the ages of 24 and 39 years of age. He was also between 4 feet, 11 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches in height.
A forensic imaging specialist with the Texas Ranger’s Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety also provided a facial reconstruction, shown above.
The man has been entered into NAMUS under #UP17738.
“Bear in mind that head hair and facial hair may be different in real life,” officials said. “If you recognize the person in this image and he has been missing or not heard from since sometime before the end of 2017, please contact Investigator Bucky Boswell at the Llano County Sheriff’s Office 325-247-5767 or email [email protected]

Those shoes are unique. They might be the key to identifying this man.

I just can't find the case you're referring to. Do you have a link? Do you think this could be him?

That’s my fault. I was scanning NamUs and every other site I could find with UID and flubbed the last name when typing. It’s TJ Murray. The forensic artist rendering looks older. I’m probably reaching. It hits close to home. He went to the same bars as me. Went to the same college as a lot of my friends. One of my really good friends grew up with and is really close to TJ’s older brother. The family also lost another son several years after TJ went missing. I think I just really want to bring him home for his family and I may be seeing things not there.

I read through TJ's case, and I can see why you want so badly for him to be found. His family has suffered a lot of loss. And I think it's obvious he deserves justice. I hope he will be found this year.
I do lean away from this UID being TJ because TJ is on the younger side of the estimate, and TJ's clothing is listed as "dark baseball cap, red T-shirt with Hollister logo, khaki shorts, grey sneakers." Of course, clothing descriptions could be mistaken. Information from TJ's NamUs profile: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Brian Kelly Cook may be worth a look as a possible match. He has some similar characteristics to the UID recon.
