FBI has never been involved AFAIK. I *think* Longview only had jurisdiction over the suicide investigation.

ETA: Nevermind my second statement, Sunnynz is right.

Lt Kirk Haddix in Gregg County is/was listed as the LE contact on Namus and that's who people have been submitting matches to.

I have set up a google alert for any news articles about FLEK - I don't think we'll hear anything until at least tomorrow though right? If the Seattle Times is like most papers they would post their articles online at the same time or after they go in the print edition?

Unless they get word that other news outlets might be going to beat them to it of course.

LOL @ Websluts

On a serious note: it was shared a few pages back that prior to marrying Blake she had a lot of info about the Ruffs. what does that mean specifically? Did she do a lot of research out of curiosity like with the recipes and genealogy? It doesn't mean the whole meeting Blake was pre-orchrestarted by her was it?

Fed trumps state. SSA was investigating the identity. The State (Longview PD/Gregg County) was over the inquest of her suicide. Two different cases.

*All statements are that of my own opinion unless otherwise specified. *

"Lori" was identified (to my surprise). Her NamUs profile is gone!

I am dying to hear the news here and if some of her story will be published. I have followed since the beginning. Pins and needles here. Pins and needles...

I'm trying not to get too excited. They could string this out a long time before releasing anything or they could just come out with a "story" that says in effect: We identified her. Lori was a runway from PA and we ask for your privacy for the family at this time. I want to know who she was (and if anyone guessed right over the years) but I'm thinking there is a small possibility we will never find out.

We will see it eventually in the daily mail.

With loads of photos!

I imagine the S Times will want the scoop on this, so I'm hoping it will be sooner rather than later.

I quote,

"She knew a lot about the family before she ever got into/involved with them."

And "her niece thought it was creepy how much she knew." There are family members - an Eric married Lori, and that's where FLEK supposedly got her name.

MDDM - our r3ddit contact who knows lori's niece. I PM'ed her as soon as the news broke that FLEK's page was removed from NAMUS.
