Kermit police is looking for a missing man.
The family of Luis Jr, Mendoza, 26, is asking for your help in their investigation.

Mendoza was last seen on Nov. 10 around 4:30 p.m. when he was headed to San Angelo, but hasn't been heard from since.

He was wearing gray sweat pants and a hoodie. He's described as 5'9" tall and approximately 220 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Police say he was driving a black 2014 Chrysler 4-door at the time.

I just read about the missing men from Canadian, Texas (Tom Brown) and Childress, Texas (Grant Brown). Now this guy. It's not the panhandle, but it is the West Texas oil patch. Is there a predator in the oilfield?

The Delaware Basin has so much activity going on right now. O&G AND water AND pipelines.

Kermit to Odessa to Sterling City to San Angelo. There's a lot of truck and equipment traffic and the ranch roads are pretty torn up. Speed limit, what speed limit?

I always worry most about traffic or road hazards when I work out there. Lots of folks working long hours and driving lots of miles.

I have been thinking about this guy, and wish I had a clue as to what the hell might have happened to him.

"They add that during investigation, which consisted of interviewing friends and family, Longoria confessed to the murder."

Does that mean that Longoria was a friend of his, or acquaintance, and they got into a fight somehow?

"
Winkler County Sheriff Office tells us that Mendoza's body was found about 6 miles northeast of Kermit, outside on his vehicle on Wednesday morning about 10:30 a.m."

What on earth does that mean---"outside on his vehicle?"
