Just after RJ's brother's comment...but then later in the conversation someone says they have talked to him. :waitasec: A lot of convo about the bf, his phone not working and contacts lost...my hinky meter is shooting through the roof on this one. Looks like the kcbd fb'ers are doing a pretty good job of sleuthin'.

I pray she is found today.

That was strange. The stepmother was explaining why RJ wasn't contactable which is fine but wouldn't RJ be making more a concerted effort to get in immediate touch & remain in touch with Maegans family. Surely he could have sent a msg on FB to get their numbers & call from another phone!!! Her family & friends seemed quite frantic yet his seemed very calm.

This isn't looking good. The fact her car has been found with very little details released.

They just released another "missing woman" from Lubbock that was last seen February 24th. I am wondering now if there is something connecting them.

Tiffany McNelly Groves was last seen in North Lubbock on East Tulane St. on February 24th. She is 5'4 and was wearing a green coat, gray shirt and black pants. She has numerous burn scars on her body and has trouble walking because of an accident she was involved in. If you have any information, please contact Crimeline at 741-1000.

Can someone figure out when she friended Mark Ysasaga's mother? That is really bothering me, and I can't figure out how to do that.

Mark's mom shared Maegan's missing poster on March 5th from Meteorologist (KLBK) Nikki-Dee Ray's fb but from Maegan's page we can only see that the friendship occurred in 2013. I think Mark's mom friends all of the local missing...maybe Maegan's setting allow friends requests to be approved/added automatically.

Tiffany McNelly Groves was last seen in North Lubbock on East Tulane St. on February 24th.

I'm thinking it's Tiffany...E. Tulane St. is right there at McKenzie Park where the body was found. FWIW I never believed the husbands story.

I don't usually go to that area of town. That is the not so good side of town, east of the interstate, but from looking at a map it looks pretty close. Mapquest said 4 miles from the park to East Tulane st. Lots of bodies have been found in that park over the years which is why I steer clear.

"MACKENZIE PARK UPDATE: Police have determined that the body has been in the park for some time. They have not confirmed how long. We will update you as more information becomes available."

Not meaning to completely hijack Maegan's thread...but with both women missing from Lubbock it could have been either one. kwim


BREAKING: Police believe body found at MacKenzie Park may be Tiffany Groves. They are awaiting official autopsy results. Tiffany was reported missing 12 days ago. She was last seen on 2/24.
