I don't think I can recall another case presented to the Grand jury in piece meal.

Am I to understand that prosecutor waived this case to the grand jury for the single charge tampering with a corpse, and upon final autopsy and ME report, they will seek another indictment?

I don't think I've seen this before, either. More than one indictment, sure, but usually from the same grand jury. I guess we wait some more. MOO

Could possibly the scenario have been that they presented two charges, but the murder charge was a no bill?

Who knows? But IMO no. It may have been because the GJ was meeting in August and the DA wanted to keep DV in jail until all the forensics are back from the lab. Since there's no statute of limitations on murder they may want everything solidly in place. MOO.

Looks like Maleah’s autopsy report was completed today. I check the website everyday and “Report Completed” was still noted as “No” as of last night.

Hope media picks up on it and we hear of additional charges SOON!

In other news...Brittany Burfield’s body was located today after killer confessed to none other than...Quannel X. I just posted this in her thread.

According to Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch, authorities found the body in a manhole, just hours after accused killer Alex Haggerty, made a confession to Quannel X regarding where the body was placed.
