I was thinking it might be something like a policy an employer would offer, a burial policy as you call it. But DV's Dad is calling it "life insurance". Who knows, just one more weird piece of the puzzle ...
I don't think there was a life insurance policy. Neither one seemed to have a job that would offer such a policy for a child, and I doubt it was something they would do on their own.
Also I'm sure it's something we would have heard of by now. Imo

Sure looks like it. That would blow the whole "he never went back to the apartment" out of the window, though. ??? Thanks, lucylulu. :)
Why would he not go back to the apartment because BB said so. I would think he would need to get some belongings. Moo

I would think he would be afraid to go back, considering what he left behind there.

Okay. If you watch the video in the Khou article and keep your finger on the pause button, you can read some of the actual docs. ;) I took screenshots and summarized them a couple of threads back. MOO
I had to take a break from this case and probably need a refresh. There's so much information and the thread moves so quickly at times. Goodness! If we all lived in the area ND would have been found and the truth of what happened would have been known!

Yes, I agree. And, BB said in her latest interview that her house key was with the car keys. We don't know where those ended up, right? She also said that there was a spare key in the apartment. So, it's possible that he had a key and went back without her knowledge and it's possible she's lying. MOO

I recommend the media thread for a refresh. I refer to it every day for one thing or another! It's hard trying to keep all this straight when the "facts" keep changing. o_O MOO

Or possibly at his brother's house where he was staying. I think it was his father who supplied some of the pictures. Some of those wounds look more than a day or two old.
Those pics have been out there since he was released from the hospital. It just reached MSM late. I've had these pic's for awhile and BB took them at BB/DV's apartment. there are several more. Moo

Ok, so there were no prior allegations of abuse before the head injury?
It doesn't look that way. She was I'll in July but it doesn't appear that it was related to abuse based on this article and the CPS documents that PommyMommy referenced.

Wonder who took these photos? It doesn’t look like he took them himself.
I enlarged the two pics of the laundry basket. Notice the end where you hold it, turns out. Similar on both. Also the holes are similar but can't match because one pic is grainy.

Does anybody know which ones are the photos taken at the hospital? It's interesting that he would feel the need to take additional pictures. Do we even know if that's really him?
What is the source for the hospital pictures and for the other pictures?
Is there any way we can compare them? They don't really look like stab wounds to me. I guess the kidnappers were careful not to hurt him too much.

I believe that DV's father is telling a lot of truths here. "She ain't no kind of mother." I agree.

Maybe his is telling some truths. But I didn't hear him explain his son's horrendous lies about the 3 Mexicans in the blue pickup, or explain where the baby girl is now.

Actually I think they were at the apartment together on Saturday and then they stayed at BB2 house on Sunday/Monday and then Bro's house on Tues. Moo

She clearly said that she wasn't at the apartment. She was staying with her mother.

I place zero credibility on another life insurance story. A burial policy perhaps, but for anything else we are talking about 4 year old with history of recent traumatic brain injury (TMI). Not going to happen. MOO
If there’s a life insurance policy, it could be one purchased at birth for cheap... Gerber Life Insurance is one targeting newborns/ kids.

BB took the photos when she was defending him... "Look at what the kidnappers did to poor DV" Moo
referencing the photo of the scratches.

If that's the case, they could have taken them Friday night into Saturday.
