A man dressed as Santa Claus opened fire during a Halloween party in Texas, injuring four people, police said.


The shooting was reported after 6 a.m. Sunday at a private residence in Austin, Detective Lee Knouse said during a press conference.

Knouse said the victims knew the suspect and the shooting was not a random act of violence. They are trying to determine if the suspect — who they believe acted alone — was invited to the party.

"Santa Claus" Charged In Deadly Shooting

Randall Gaston Jones, 32, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and a murder charge was filed Monday evening.

One man died, and three people were injured. Randall Gaston Jones, 32, faces murder charges.
