San Antonio man accused of offering $500K to purchase family's baby for organs

Jose Teran Jr. allegedly said he purchases babies for their organs, according to arrest warrant.

According to an arrest affidavit, Jose Teran Jr. offered half a million dollars to purchase the family’s baby.

Wonder if the shooting victim in his road rage incident thought he was just joking?

Police said a semi-truck driver was shot in the leg Monday afternoon by Jose Israel Teran, 22. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

I doubt he had the means or connections to buy a baby for the purpose of harvesting organs but IMO this guy sounds like a menace who likes to threaten and terrorize others. Glad he's on LE radar, feels like he needs to be.

Did the shooting happen prior to this latest charge? Is it still an ongoing case?

The offer to purchase baby in group chat was apparently in Late December 2024, LE were investigating the messages and when they located him, discovered he already in custody for the shooting incident, which took place of January 6th of this year.
