A woman in Texas has been charged with first-degree murder after she allegedly tied a man up and beat him to death with a drill.
Mandy Lou Villegas, 42, was arrested on Tuesday after the gruesome discovery of a 36-year-old man in San Antonio on Monday.
Police say the man may have been tied up and killed on Eldorado Street in the Palm Heights area of the city.
Cops said they were called to a home at around 10pm where they discovered the bloody scene and the corpse of the victim, San Antonio Express News reported.
The woman admitted to tying the man up and going after him with the power tool, KSAT reported.
Court records show that police had been called to the property 11 times last year, the broadcaster reported.
Villegas has been charged with first-degree murder and was detained at Bexar County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
