Found Deceased TX - Mario Martinez, 24, San Antonio, 6 Dec 2017 *Arrest*

Mario Martinez's family says he's been missing since Wednesday and the circumstances around his disappearance are a mystery. Last Wednesday evening, Martinez picked up his girlfriend from work, they had dinner at their home with their 2-year-old daughter and then he went out with friends. His girlfriend got worried when she woke up in the middle of the night and he still wasn't home. His phone has been off since then.

They worry foul play could involved. His mother fears his disappearance may be connected to a weekend shooting. She said there was an incident on Saturday. "One of his good friends got killed on Foster Road and we believe that those two are linked." His girlfriend says Martinez was a family man who loved his daughter.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed if the Foster Road shooting is connected to the missing persons case.

Reid Shizuo Kamitono, 47, was taken into custody on suspicion of tampering with physical evidence by altering or concealing a corpse, a second-degree felony.

The arrest comes nearly one month after police found Mario Martinez's body inside a Northeast Side apartment and six weeks after he was reported missing
