All I know is Daughter's MIl is still locked down and the cell service sucks, but the rumor is there may still be another shooter and that's why they are still locked down........local rumor I should say.

Yeah... at first I heard 2 but now they are saying 1 (am hearing this from my cousin speaking to someone at Ft. Hood).

yes! nothing was done after the conference!!! and he himself was trying to get out of the military!!!! holy moly. they would not release him. he had the military pay for his college and medical school (how i understand it) and was trying to negotiate with them to pay the military back so he could get out. he was terrified of being deployed. he also told his family (his cousin is on fox) that he hired a military lawyer to help him. oh, and he was born and raised in virginia and born and raised muslim. he was not a convert.

Im not sure if Kat has posted in this thread,it's alot to read but for those of you who would like to know she is not in Fort Hood anymore. I went back to my messages that me and her had sent back and forth and she is El Paso now. My prayers for the familes of these soldiers.

Thank-you, Thank-you!! I was searching the thread to see if anyone had heard from her and now I do remember she is in El Paso...Thank God!! And prayers to all the families who lost loved ones and have injured loved ones!!

This guy was very seriously mixed up.....in the army in the first place to get his medical degree obviously but dont think he ever took the having to go to war seriously.......especially in a islamic country...

I think he may have really turned against the US, not letting him get out of the military and others mocking his religious views.....I suppose he thought "I;ll teach them"





Also to the lady who says everyone is knocking muslims.......look lets get blunt here.......there are muslims that hate that west, would love to kill americans etc and everything you stand for and do so.....what do you think no one is allowed to say anything about them because it may offend all muslims....... I really dont think people are knocking ALL muslims but hey reality is that there are some out there doing awful things........same with the war in ireland......catholics against protestants....I am a catholic and think the catholics who killed others because of religion are disguisting as well.

i guess saying that he was a homosexual was not an option for him since his whole family is muslim. remember the head honcho of iran answered a reporter's question about his view of homosexuals in iran with "who told you there are homosexuals in iran?" "we don't have homosexuals in iran".....

and it is irony of ironies to try to convince the higher ups that one has severe mental problems as a currently employed psychiatrist treating mental issues in a military hospital. he would also have wanted to continue his work as a psychiatrist in the civilian world so that would also have been a problem

I have no problem with any religion, I do have a problem with any FOOL who steps into a military base and kills innocent soldiers! I have a problem with it no matter if they were catholic, Islamic, Christians, or Muslim! It makes no difference! Most soldiers who committ these horrible acts because of a mental problem go after their families, themselves..not their fellow soilders..
This was a pure hate crime.:furious:
A retired soldier was just on Fox news talking about his radical beliefs..

Not that what he did was right but I would suggest this fellow took a lot of abuse from some in the military who may not have friendly views of Muslims.
