Woman reported missing after seen leaving from hospital

KINGWOOD, Texas -

The Houston Police Department is seeking help from the public to find a 61-year-old woman who was seen walking away from a Kingwood hospital on June 12. Melba Lowrance has a heart condition and struggles to walk long distances, according to a flier released by HPD on Monday. Lowrance left from Kingwood Medical Center in the 22000 block of the Eastex Freeway at 10:52 p.m. on Thursday, June 12.

Her relatives say the grandmother was transported from her Shepherd home by ambulance to Kingwood Medical Center. But hours later, she was gone.

Lyons' son, Christopher Stephens... said two security guards showed him surveillance video of his mother exiting a side door and running across the hospital parking lot.
