Another bump-up for Papaw!

Unrelated to the MC case, but I was reading an article online about another dive team 'practicing' at a body of water where evidence of 3 missing ladies just might exist. I thought I'd post here about it, thinking perhaps this was somewhat the situation at the lake/bridge where we discussed another dive team 'practicing' recently.

That’s really interesting!!

Where are you Mr. Chambers? My heart hurts for your family and loved ones that are missing you. God knows exactly where you are. I am praying that He will bring you home and give your family peace. And that He will see that justice is served for those responsible for your long absence.

May the guilty not eat, sleep or have a moment of peace until they confess to the appropriate persons; law enforcement or the private investigators hired by the family.

Bring Michael home!!

Not a day goes by without thinking of MC and family. Keep bumping for Papaw.

I think there is some good leads that aren't being discussed anywhere not even on social media so I haven't lost hope yet.

I sure hope so, steve! One of these days I hope I can get some of my thoughts squared away to get more discussion going again. Until then, my prayer is for some new or breaking news re: Papaw.

Hopefully the PI knows about these leads and will investigate, if they're not already.

Good news I don't think this breaking any rules.Mike's niece messaged me to tell me to watch Suzy's speech at the vigil as they had posted it to BPH.She done a great job showed a lot of compassion for the other families.Well the good news is the Office of the Attorney General will get be taking over Michael's case.I'm told Klein presented evidence and lobbied for it but that is about all the details I have.

Finally something truly positive here.

That certainly IS good news, and movement in the right direction. I didn't watch the video on the BPH Facebook page yet. I am curious what this decision truly means both to Klein as well as Mike's family, of course. Could it mean that the Klein investigators need more resources/help that only the state's AG can supply, or is it mostly that they believe they have enough meat in their own investigation but know that HCSO won't act on it whereby the state's AG will? It could be both those things, I guess.

My guess is they will investigate the early death certificate granted by a judge with benefits as well as the other evidence that has not been looked at properly! Hopefully something will come of it!

Suzy posted a transcript of her speech to the BPH FB page:

“Today makes 83 weeks. I did not write last weekend’s speech with the intent to share it in print, but since not everyone has been able to watch the video, I’ve decided to post it where it can be shared outside of FaceBook.

I am extremely proud to be the daughter of Mike Chambers. My father would never call himself a hero, but he is a hero. He lived his life serving others. He never bragged about having saved anyone from a burning building or an accident, but he did, many times. He never boasted about helping others. He just silently did what was right.

[SBM]

I would like to take the time to publicly thank Klein Investigations for the incredible effort they have poured into Dad’s case. I am amazed at their dedication. I am in awe of their skills. They would have liked to have been here tonight, but they are working. Even as we speak, they are continuing to investigate a mountain of leads. I am extremely happy to say that Klein is currently in the formal process of bringing the Office of the Attorney General into Dad’s case. I am extremely encouraged by that move. I need all of the eyes, ears, minds, hands, and resources contributing to the investigation.” (BBM)

Much more at the link.

For me personally, this is the best news so far.

So who is going to do what is right for Mike (though not so silently)?

Yeah, someone hid him well!!! I mean, for nothing to show up. A shoe, a license, a shirt, some glasses, nothing. I'm so mad about this case. I'm ready for him to be returned to his kids who love him.

I wonder who it is that will officially make the announcement that the AG's office will be handling the case- HCSO, Texas AG's office, Klein? And how long it takes to do so. Yes, I'm impatient to BringPapawHome#! Please, dear Lord, guide these investigators, family and friends, and bring him home soon.

In the disappearance of Thomas Brown out of Canadian, TX, I believe Klein was first to confirm that the Texas Attorney General agreed to review the case in a post on the “Help Find Tom Brown” FB page:

“Good evening. We wanted to give you all an update regarding the Brown case.

First, the Texas Attorney General has agreed to review the case. This is huge and our thanks to the office of the Governor and other state elected officials that the PSB Investigators [Private Security Bureau, which falls under the Regulartory Services Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety; I believe Klein is referring to himself and his employees, who are licensed by the State of Texas to work as a private investigator] have had the chance to visit with over the last few weeks. Not to mention one great lady being Penny Meeks, Toms Mom.

About a month later, Klein posted:

“Good Afternoon - We wanted to give you the public a quick update on the Brown case.

Over the past couple of weeks - we have been in direct communication with the State of Texas Attorney General's office. We want to assure you the public that these investigators are highly trained and outstanding public servants. They are working hard on the case and following leads. We have offered, and they have accepted our case work regarding the case.

We know many of you are concerned - and we know many of you love and care for the family. We do as well. Thus our complete cooperation and case file communication with the AG Investigators.
It is always great to have another set of eyes on this case.

We ask you, the general public, to have faith in all of us on the PSB side - as well as the LE side. We (PSB) have made bounds and strides on this case now. We will continue to work hard for the family - and bring them - and you - the answers to this case.

‘For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.’” (BBM)

And then a month after that:
“Investigators Comments : We wanted to give you an update. The case is progressing forward and evidence is being re-reviewed which is common in these cases. We can report that the OAG is as well working very hard on the case as is the Texas Rangers. All we ask for is your prayers to lead us in the right direction. We cannot say enough regarding the OAG and their hard working team. We are proud they represent the State of Texas.“ (BBM)

It would be wonderful to see similar posts on the BPH page in the near future.

Hi All. I have not been on this site for a month or so but have always been following this case from not too afar. My opinion was formed early on of what happened to Michael Chambers and nothing has changed from then to now. I believe this crime happened closer to home than the 10% of sleuthers think but I think the other 90% have a strong and smart conclusion of what happened. So does LE. It may take 1-2 years before this gets solved but sometimes the "quietness" is very good. Pawpaw seems like a very good bloke and I would have loved to have had a beer or whisky with him. Cheers fingers crossed they get the mongrels, more than 1 person was involved in making MC disappear "without a trace".
