Pretty obvious who the main POI is since they aren't releasing exactly what brought the charges forth in his arrest. It's not separate from her death. IMO.

From the presser, they pretty much have it solved, it's just how and gathering the evidence to secure and present for probable cause. I'm betting they found her body by way of his cell phone. He place her body there on his way back home to San Angelo. Did he set up the "dinner date" and the place to meet via the internet pretending to be someone else.? The meeting place was the lot where her car was found, imo....and him showing up must have been a rude awaking to her.

It's scary enough to meet someone thru friends, work or family...because they really don't know all there is to know about someone; but it's like going out with an alien from someone you meet on the net. Can not for the life of me understand why or how anyone could feel secure in doing it. IMO

People do it all the time. But your comment that friends or people you work with wouldn't know all there is to know about someone... made me think. Do we ever really know anyone that well? Some people do have a dark side, and you can be married to and live with someone for years and think you know them, and be fooled. Look at Dennis Rader, the BTK killer. He was going around killing people for years and NO ONE suspected him, least of all his wife and family.

Released Documents Establish Connection from Reiter to Ex-Boyfriend

From the article:

According to the documents, Lanny Marvin Bush, 53, admitted to authorities that he set up a fake Facebook account in order to communicate with his ex-girlfriend Michele Reiter, with intent to do her harm. The document also states that Bush acknowledged sending a text message from Reiter’s phone after the suspected time of her disappearance. Although he admitted to the Facebook scheme, he denies responsibility for her disappearance, the document states.

The document also states that Reiter was arrested on August 28th for an alleged assault of Bush.

I've been waiting for Coleman News to post a story, and it looks like they finally have.

I wish they would release the location the body was found. Most of Coleman County is remote, but a more exact location could tell us a lot.

The Brownwood Police Department established, through a Facebook post from someone named "Rocky," that the two had a date scheduled for Sept. 10.

The complaint, filed by Texas Ranger Nick Hanna, alleges that Bush created a page under the name of Rocky Switzer "with intent to harm" Reiter.

On Sept. 19, Hanna interviewed a woman who was dating Bush, according to the complaint. She told officers she was aware Bush created the page to communicate with Reiter through Facebook.

I did some digging last and night and today, and it certainly brought more questions to my mind. A google search on his full name will show he has been married four times. The first when he was 22 to a 15 year old.

The body found in Coleman Co. on Sept. 24 has not yet been positively identified and Brownwood police say they have nothing more to say about the remains being those of a missing Brownwood woman.

I see he is a CSI fan. Kinda makes you wonder what he was thinkin when he used his dead girlfriend's phone to text.

Just noticed his interests include something about a group trying to keep prisoners who are there for sex crimes from keeping a facebook account. I wonder if he is for or against? Maybe he was in for a sex crime? If not he should have been, trying to marry a 15 year old!
