I'm really glad to hear he's getting speech therapy and that he's thriving.

The fact that he could write his name when asked, likely many years after he had any formal schooling, shows he has some literacy and he's a great candidate for AAC, which these days can be as cheap as an iPad loaded with Proquolo2go.
