She was his live-in girlfriend for three years, and he refers to her as a "human."

If you ever find yourself in a toxic relationship, get out as soon as the red flags show.

Unfortunately people tend to have to learn how to "get out" the hard way, by staying too long in at least one such relationship.

But most people, despite having probably worse financial means and less family support than KA, manage to finally get out, taking their extreme anger and pain and coping until time starts to heal the wounds.

I wonder what exactly a good psych evaluation would diagnose in this case...

Surprised we haven't heard anything more from KA's father.

I think the general public isn't concerned at this point what KA's father has to say. He'll tell us his daughter couldn't have done this and most people aren't buying that. He's probably also worried that he'll be asked about the NY drivers license - campground development and what's he going to say about that? I'm sure he doesn't want to implicate other family members and his lawyer has probably told him to button his lips.
As for fathers, I'm mostly sickened by the torturous Father's Day that Mo's dad must be experiencing. It's got to be an impossible day for him on top of the ones he's already had.

I really wonder what exactly, as her significant other and person she lived with, he observed of and heard from KA on the days immediately before, the day of, and the days after the shooting. But IMHO maybe he is too obtuse to have bothered noticing anything or be able to communicate it. Remember all the stuff in the affidavit about how KA couldn't keep up with him etc (see below quote?) it’s all about him and the bikes.

Throughout the interview, Strickland spoke very highly of Wilson and her accomplishments. Strickland
advised Wilson was a professional cyclist and was assisting her with obtaining new sponsors. Strickland referred to Wilson as the best female cyclist in the United States and possibly the world. When Strickland
described Armstrong, he referred to her as a "participant" at bicycle races while he is a "racer." Strickland stated he told Armstrong in the past she does not need to ride with him because she "holds him back." Strickland advised Armstrong normally feels as though he's "grumpy" while training because he has to wait on Armstrong due to her not being able to ride at a professional level.

Apart from any personal connection, romantic or friendship, MW was making a big push into getting prominent in this niche sport and accumulating sponsors, her social media documents this and she ended up having a lot of the same sponsors as CS (this article Moriah Wilson: The Real Story - Vermont Sports Magazine quoted her mother talking about how MW and CS connected over him advising her about getting sponsors).

It was just inevitable their paths were going to continue to cross and that was a shame given this volatile situation with KA! I wonder if MW’s friends were worried and if it was because they knew about KA. This info from the affidavit makes me think the friend she was staying with in Austin definitely had concerns:

Something I am hung up on, and it makes me wonder if I'm really old fashioned. I and my wife (almost 40 years), have always had friends and business friends. A meetup after long periods or someone is in town is like coffee or a quick meal.

It's never been like, hey let's go swimming! I mean, who does that? I get that they're both athletic etc., but for me meeting someone of the opposite sex for a swim would be something I wouldn't even consider, even with my wife knowing.

And if the outing was with someone you had a romantic relationship with five or six months ago and it was a source of grief for your long term relationship, it would be really inappropriate, on top of being inappropriate anyway, IMO.

All the more reason for CS to come clean with MW and let her know that he was back with KA and that they were trying to make it work, and that MW would run into both of them at events and that he hoped it wouldn't be too uncomfortable. He could send her some information on sponsorships and she would eventually find other mentors. It's not that complicated, unless you want to play them both.

I also wonder whether the person that MW was staying with in Austin decided to go home to speak with MW about her going out with CS because she wanted to talk to her about the apartment security system and how to lock up, return, etc. and she wouldn't want to put this in a text. She also maybe wanted to talk to her about where to keep the bike or the bike case, etc. Nothing that I have read indicates that she had concerns about MW going out with CS. It could be the case, but I haven't seen anything but speculation on that as reported in MSM.

Probably would have cut ties regardless. Even if the relationship with Mo was only platonic, which clearly, no one believes, there is no way his name wasn't going to be mentioned in almost every story reporting the murder, given that his SO and housemate is the alleged murderer of another professional cyclist that raced the same circuits as he did. Most sponsors would immediately be back-pedaling to get distance between their product and him. I am frankly surprised Red Bull didn't drop him like a hot potato, and now that he hasn't been on a bike for six weeks, and clearly isn't running races for the foreseeable future, I think they legally could pull sponsorship for breach of contract perhaps.

I get the feeling the sponsorship dropping is because it’s a small world in that sport and people might know something about character and conduct of the players, even more than what seems apparent from the affidavit, public statements, etc, that would tarnish the brand(s) if continue to endorse certain individual. A lot if the brands involved were sponsoring both MW and CS, the company called Specialized was actually where MW was working as a planner, so it’s just awkward to keep him affiliated. Ultimately even if someone did absolutely nothing criminally or civilly culpable there is still the image and innuendo of it all.

Also he says here that he dumped KA in fall 2021 and “that exact week” hooked up with MW.
I notice that he never expresses any love or concern for KA, his live in girlfriend as of last month.

I said it may have been because she wanted to go over the security system with MW in person. But after reading this last article and interview with CS, he mentions that the romantic relationship with MW last fall took place in Austin when just by chance MW was visiting with her friend. So now I think it probably is the case that MW's friend went back to her apartment to talk to MW about her going out with CS, she probably had some concerns, knowing that the relationship had a romantic component from the earlier visit in fall 2021 by MW to Austin.

You know this is something I wanted to comment on also but refrained. I am not sure that it is possible to be romantically entangled with someone and then you are JUST friends. It does happen but not very often. Swimming with someone that you had a romantic relationship is kinda risky business, I mean lets get real folks. We aren't children here.
