This case has interested me from the beginning. I follow it diligently, I don't understand why a woman (KA) that obviously has no problems with money or the ability to make it, would ruin her entire life over another female. To me KA might be in a foreign country but I would think she would be terrified of being imprisoned in a foreign country for any length of time. I think if she is guilty she would stay in the states for awhile and monitor the situation by media. I would begin by looking at her longest stays overseas if I thought she had indeed left the country. Find out where she could have made connections. If she did indeed lose control and commit the crime in question, I would think she is an emotional person that would want to be somewhere safe. In her own country. I think she will end up deceased. Not a safe world out there for a single attractive woman, I don't care how sophisticated you are.

This is why I’m hoping the US Marshals can convince her father to persuade her to turn herself in (if in fact they are in contact at all). He must be worried for her safety.

Father probably has a good idea where she is.

I hope so, and that US Marshals will work with him, otherwise it’s a needle in a haystack scenario at this point in time.

The write up from Vermont really touched my heart. What a wonderful family Moriah had. I liked her from everything I have seen or read. I loved the pic from when she was little standing by her bicycle. What guts and grit she had, such a loss for her family.

Yes, such an awful thing, for the beautiful and sweet Mo to be gunned down in her youth. There needs to be justice.

I believe...... that justice will be served. This is so difficult for her family. It's just when.....

Jealousy is a very powerful emotion.

Years ago, I read a book by Nancy Friday called "Jealousy". One important point she made had to do with this phenomenon of why in a 3-way mess, the person kills the love interest and not the two-timer. And the death can be savage.

That book went out of print decades ago, lol, but she's put out a new one:

I was curious about the friend CC coming back to the house to talk to Mo. Did Mo tell CS about this conversation? What prompted it? Does CC know KA or CS?

From the AA:

“Cash stated she was at a nearby residence and went home to speak with Wilson about her going out with Colin. Cash advised she left her residence around 5:30 PM to meet with some ofher friends and have dinner.”
Where can we read the arrest affidavit?

Is the arrest affidavit available for us to read? If so, where can it be accessed? Thanks so much!!

She will eventually slip up and make some small (but really dumb) decision that will lead LE straight to her. She will trust the wrong person or grow complacent and think it’s safe to reach out to an old friend or visit a beloved vacation spot she’s frequented in the past.

To live a life on the lam, she must —
… never contact anyone from her old life
… never return to Austin ever again
… never visit her favorite vacation destinations
… give up yoga
… give up cycling
… give up every other activity she previously loved
… never log into old social media accounts or check her old email
… never share anything about her old life with those she encounters in her new life
… avoid all contact with police (this means no speeding tickets, car accidents, needing their help for any reason)

It’s nearly impossible to do all of those things. If I had to guess, loneliness or curiosity will ultimately be her downfall.

The arrest affidavit can be found at the following link, directly from the article link provided after.

Very interesting! Article quoted and BBM below.

Now, investigators say tips have come in that allege Armstrong may be going by her sister’s name in New York state.

Thanks for this. I wonder if she is, and if this will lead to finding her? I wonder who tipped that in?

If using her sister’s identity as the article suggests, how would this work, I wonder, if the sister is also still using her own ID, bank cards, phone, etc.?

Until they release more information, it could mean anything.

For example, she could be simply giving her sister’s name when talking with strangers all the way to setting up burner phones and prepaid cards under her sister’s name and using those for essentials.

True.

“Armstrong was brought in for questioning in the murder case, but she was released and has been on the run ever since. Now, investigators say tips have come in that allege Armstrong may be going by her sister’s name in New York state.”

I’m wondering if the tipster knows the sister and has firsthand knowledge.

At the memorial posted above they called it “a senseless tragedy” but it was a cold blooded murder, and the killer should be brought to justice.

Private investigators told NewsNation tipsters allege Armstrong may be going by her sister’s name in New York state. In an interview with NewsNation’s Marni Hughes, private investigator Jason Jensen said he believes she’s using the alias “Christine Armstrong.”

“Three days after Kaitlin was seen in the New York area, an address popped up in New York state, Livingston Manor, where it was in Christine’s name,” said Jensen. The investigator added that Armstrong is from Michigan and could also have left the country and traveled to Canada.
