Authorities in Texas issued an Amber Alert for a 17-year-old girl who is believed to be in “grave or immediate danger.”

Dallas police and the Texas Department of Public Safety said Natalie Navarro was last seen Thursday afternoon.

The teen is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 117 pounds and has black hair with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, ripped light blue skinny jeans and black Champion slides.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children said Dallas police are looking for 21-year-old Yordy Martinez in connection to the abduction.

Martinez is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has black hair with brown eyes.

The suspect was last seen driving a gray four-door sedan in the Dallas area.

Anyone with information about the Amber Alert is asked to call Dallas police at 214-970-4729.

DALLAS (Gray News) - An Amber Alert that was issued for a 17-year-old girl in Texas has been canceled.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the teenager has been found.

Dallas police and the Texas Department of Public Safety initially issued the alert for the teen who was last seen Thursday afternoon.

Details regarding a 21-year-old man who police initially identified as being involved in the teen’s abduction were not immediately released.

Also, that's the second time very recently this has happened where a missing teen girl is found and then arrested for a murder that happened either leading to their being missing or while they were missing (in this other case, which I'm struggling to find, though there is as WS thread that was reopened once she was arrested) she and the guy she was on the run with had killed his mother.

For something we don't see too often - teens seemingly genuinely missing (and in this current case and the OH one I just linked, both deemed extremely endangered, not "just" missing) at the start - to have two in a matter of months with similar endings, and another virtually a year to the week of this most recent one is wild.

But later on Friday arrest warrants were issued for Navarro and 21-year-old Yordy Martinez who were both named as suspects in the murder of Arturo Pena, 21, who was found fatally shot in a car Tuesday morning.

Martinez was initially named as a suspect in Navarro’s disappearance and was still at large Friday.

The Dallas Police refused to provide details concerning how Navarro and Martinez may be connected to Pena’s murder, when reached out by The Messenger for additional information

Natalie Navarro, 17, is suspected of killing Mesquite resident Arturo Pena, investigators in the Dallas suburb of Garland said. On the run is Yordy Martinez, 21, after Pena's body was found in a vehicle when a passerby told authorities he appeared to be passed out.

Officers discovered a gunshot wound on Pena - he had been missing since August 27 - when they arrived at the scene on August 29. As the investigation developed, Navarro became the subject of an amber alert issued by Dallas Police on Thursday

"The reason why this happened, we've yet to totally determine that. We hope to get more when we talk to Natalie to see exactly what was going on if these persons knew each other, if they had a relationship, if there was a falling out," said Garland Police Lieutenant Richard Moldonado.

GARLAND, Texas - A 17-year-old girl is facing a murder charge just hours after an AMBER Alert was issued to find her.

Natalie Navarro has been charged with the murder of Mesquite 21-year-old Arturo Pena.

He had been reported missing to the Dallas Police Department on August 27.

Garland Police say Navarro and 21-year-old Yordy Martinez have been charged with murder in Pena's death.

An AMBER Alert for Navarro was issued by Dallas Police on Sept. 1, after it was reported that she disappeared from an apartment complex near Interstate 635 and Ferguson Road in Far East Dallas.

Navarro was found safe hours later on Friday.

Garland Police say Yordy Martinez is still at large.

Martinez was listed as a suspect in Navarro's disappearance in the AMBER Alert.

Police believe he was traveling in a dark gray, four-door car and say he is missing a front tooth.

Anyone with information about Martinez is asked to call Garland Police.
