Going to say this respectfully.... was she (the mother) becoming frightened or distrustful of the bf and planning to leave ?
They weren't married... so it's not like she'd be taking any of his assets.
Doesn't feel like a murder/suicide ; imo.
Rest in peace to the deceased.

Hard to say. It will be interesting to find out where he was the night before. Maybe there was an argument, he left for the evening and maybe momma took matters into her own hands?

Woman, 2 teenage girls found dead in Texas gated community

Salazar said the girls' deaths appeared to be homicides, but investigators are reserving judgment on whether the woman's death was a homicide and suicide pending further investigation.

BBM. Interesting they are willing to comment on the girls deaths as appearing as homicides but not the mother's.

Three shot dead in luxury home near Boerne
Authorities found records showing sheriff’s officials made four visits to the home last year, a spokesman said. Three of those visits were attempts to serve court papers, while a fourth visit was to document a reported theft.

The same article reports "The homeowner, a man who purchased the house last year..."

The deed records show mother's boyfriend as deed owner as of 4/10/17. Deed owner was a Trust before then. Wonder if they had been living there as of the time boyfriend took ownership or during Trust ownership. If as of 4/10/17 seems like a lot going on in a short period of time.

Perhaps he wanted them out of the property, just my supposition but would like to know what those papers were.

I am in the opposite camp. I don’t see any reason why he would kill them. My first theory is that they broke up and he slept elsewhere that night. She didn’t want to have to move out into a not so nice place and lost her mind. But on the other hand, who shoots themselves in the chest?

His beard is something else. (The pics are in the Daily Mail article).

Heehee.
Not my style, but hey--- if it works for him.

^^^ Re. the bolded bit ; Wonder if it was at close range ?
Most suicides have the gun pointed at their head.
But a maybe suicidal person is at a place where normal thinking is suspended.

LE must believe it happened while just the three of them were at the residence.
and I'm assuming a weapon was found close to the mother ?

Maybe she had a bipolar diagnosis, or depression ?
It seems rarer that a woman would kill two daughters and then herself....

But having been reading and posting here at WS, I shouldn't be surprised. :(
Still recall the Christy Sheets' case.

Assuming the bf in this case had an alibi ?

This is really sad either way. I don’t want the mom to have done it because those girls would have felt so betrayed in their last moments. Hopefully they were asleep when it happened.

She'd also been married and divorced twice. Tough to get along with? Demanding? Could this be an "I'll show you" moment, knowing the bf would come home and see this awful scene.

Two teen girls and woman in her 30s 'all from the same family' found shot dead in Texas mansion | Daily Mail Online
"Family members identified Olsen as the deceased adult.

She had at least three children, including a college-age son and two daughters who were in high school and fifth grade.

Police declined to confirm that the girls found dead in the home were Olsen's daughters, saying only that all of the victims were in a 'family relationship'.

Sheriff Salazar said that the two girls look to have been the 'victims of foul play' and that they appear to have been murdered."

"The sheriff added of Olsen: 'It's just too early to tell on the third person if that is a murder or a suicide. We'll let the medical examiner take a look at it."

"Olsen has been twice divorced, in 1998 and 2006, court records show."

She was a licensed cosmetologist and appears to have worked as a hair stylist.

'We're being meticulous about how this crime scene is processed, for certain.'"

You would think they could narrow down how many children she has. "At least three children"?

Very sad case. I hope our Sheriff's Office actually puts some effort into solving this one.

My husband and I are from San Antonio (we live in Corpus now) and a teacher friend of mine just built a home in Boerne (and my husband's sister lives there). I am praying they solve this one quickly. It is heartbreaking that teens are the victims.

I live in Corpus! I lived in Boerne in 2004.

You’d think with a house like that there would plenty of surveillance cameras on the property

One of my closest friends lives in Corpus. That's a great town, as is Boerne. I just don't have a ton of the faith in the BCSO, based on other crimes here that are still unsolved after months and years, but since this is a triple murder (most likely) in an affluent area, I have some hope it will be solved quickly. It's terribly sad that children were killed.

Nichol Olsen: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Nichol Olsen and her two young daughters, Alexa Denice Montez and London Bribiescas, were found dead at her boyfriend’s Texas mansion in San Antonio.

Olsen, a 37-year-old hairdresser, Alexa Denice Montez, a high school student and cheerleader, and London Bribiescas, a 10-year-old elementary school student, were all found dead from gunshot wounds at Charles Wheeler’s gated-community home, The Daily Mail reports.

Wheeler told police that he discovered all three dead inside the house Thursday morning, which he bought last year for $1 million, after spending the night elsewhere. It’s unclear where he was that night.

Police have not said whether all three were murdered or whether it may have been a murder-suicide.

“It’s way too early to tell who’s a suspect and who’s a witness,” Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar told reporters at a Thursday press conference.

Here’s what you need to know:

[...]

According to The Daily Mail, Olsen had her first child, Skylar, when she was just 15. Records show Nichol divorced Skylar’s father, James Noble, in 1998 when she was just 17 and Skylar was 2 years old.

Olsen divorced from Alexa’s father, Carlos, in 2006 when she was 25.

Nichol never married London’s father, Hector Jose Bribiesca, but sued his for child support in 2013.

In March 2014, she was charged with domestic assault but the charges were later dropped when the witness failed to appear in court.

She got married when she was only 15? I didn't know that is possible.

My Google-fu is not working well this morning so I can't find any supporting evidence of this, but I seem to recall a study that women that commit suicide-by-firearm are less likely to shoot themselves in the head (unlike men) especially if they place a high value on their looks.

I could maybe see that she had come to a very dark point in her life if she was asked to leave her boyfriend's home. I can pretty much guarantee that she has struggled in her life - having her first child as a teen, having multiple children with multiple fathers - and was finally getting a taste of a very comfortable existence that she did not want to go away.

It sounds suspicious that the boyfriend had decided to sleep elsewhere that night and then came home to find them deceased. But on the other hand, I could see him trying to avoid a lot of drama by leaving the residence, especially when there are kids involved. I'm pretty sure there is a break-up at the center of all this and it will be very telling to see which party is doing the breaking. If she was breaking up with him, I couldn't see her doing it without a place to go to. If he was breaking up with her, I don't see much motive for him to kill her and 2 of her children. I do wonder if she was possibly pregnant though.

I have a feeling there were a lot of text messages sent that night...
