I'm sorry if this has been talked about already, but does anyone know how long they have been a couple, and has she lived with him since he bought the mansion? Thanks to anyone with the answers, and thanks to all for staying on this case. Katt

the toxicology report will help explain a few questions i have like why they were all located close to each other. unless the common area was a bathroom or closet imo it could be alcohol might have been involved. i hope LE releases the reports but i guess if the case gets dicey then information could be sealed.

The Express article from last night reported they have been romantically involved for two years and she has been living with him for the past year. Boyfriend purchased the home in April 2017.

Same article also mentions the domestic violence charge against the mother which includes some info I had not seen before including that it was against another man.

Notes made listening to this interview:
Sheriff: - CID is doing everything they can over there. . . . we're getting responses from everywhere. My sister works at a dental office and received a call from a patient telling her I think your brother should know this this and this about the case. This kind of stuff never happens. This young lady Nichol was connected to everybody in Bexar county. We get that. We get that there's gonna be a lot of eyes on this case. We get that at the end of this case lots of people are going to be interested in open records, subpoenas, and looking at all the evidence. That's why it is important why we get it right. Getting it right takes time. I know it's going to be looked at for years to come and we want to know we got it right.

Thanks, Squid. From your notes Sheriff sounds more with it. Wow. "This young lady Nichol was connected to everybody in Bexar county." Sure sounds like she was well liked or at least her family connections are strong. This is way different than a couple living in a nameless suburb. It sounds like lots of people are angry and advocating for her. Even the Sheriff says this is unprecedented to have such public outcry and input. He may be out of his depth on this.

I certainly can't blame him for not showing at her vigil. It seems her friends have already made up their mind about him, regardless of the evidence. Him showing up to the public memorials would have probably resulted in a huge scene. Sad that he can't grieve in public like the others who loved her. MOO.

Completely agree. Both her family and friends have made it clear they blame him so why do they think he'd want to show up at the vigil? He'd be criticized for going ("What's he doing here, he doesn't belong here") and he's criticized for not going. JMO

We need an MSM link for this image rigsby2; otherwise the post and responses have to be removed.

Sorry sillybilly, just seeing your post now. It is from NOs FB profile (thanks cybervampira)

(I had checked TOS before posting , saw that NO fit either of these below categories at the time, so thought photo from her FB was okay - is that correct or did I misinterpret? Or is it that I forgot to link? Want to make sure I'm following the guidelines correctly - Thanks in advance!)

Sorry you didn’t understand my points. I would respond to your issues, however I don’t really understand what you’re saying/asking in a lot of your post (sorry). It seems you possibly misunderstood or don’t understand a lot of what I was saying. Either way, you can’t “throw out” a ME’s findings. And they have said her death was a suicide. They are only still investigating who killed the girls. Justice is all anyone wants in this case I presume.

Of course you can. You must have seen this:

"In addition to the gunshot residue tests, investigators are still waiting on the results of ballistics tests"

This blows your theory about ME testing everything before publishing their findings. Gun shot residue is the number thing you want to test. What is if shows there was residue on his hands? And none on hers? All they saw was a gun next to her body and declared it as suicide. Wow! What a joke!

If you think LE was unprepared of rushed then what can you say about the incompetent ME and their findings?

I read CW has 3 attorneys in his corner. Yeah he needs them if the REAL findings come through and are not what many are expecting.

Day 8 still he has not been ruled out as a POI. Again I ask whats taking LE this long to declare he is no longer a POI? No one here can answer this.

This aint over.

What if the guy just left his house, and drove around? It disturbs me that people are expected to have an alibi for every single minute of their lives.

Well if the drove around then surveillance cameras will be his alibi

It sounds strange that the boyfriend “had departed the residence the previous evening due to conflict in the home”

Why would be arrive back so early?

How far away was the other city?

What time was the conflict in the home?

What time did he leave that night?

Investigators are still working to verify his whereabouts during that time period.

Sheriff: Boyfriend of woman in San Antonio triple shooting is ‘person of interest,’ not a suspect

This is why I said I had my doubts it was a suicide. Couple have an argument and then they claim they left home and then came back in the morning only to find the dead body.

Or to reverse it, couple had an argument and then the other party says the missing victim had left home by the they got back from work.

How many times have we read that? Lost count.

Still waiting for the results for gunpowder residue and surveillance cameras. These for me are the main things that will tell the truth. Until they are checked and verified everything said by ME or anyone about this being a suicide is hog wash.

Would you be able to post the additional details the article shared about the domestic violence charges brought against NO? (The article requires a subscription). Wondering if it mentions what the violence was or who the man is?
Thanks!

I think these words are VERY telling into the situation ... from Carlos Montez, father of Alexa..

"I know, and I can say, that Nichol could not have done this," he said. "The home she was living in, we just feel it wasn't a great place for our children to have been loved."

Father demands truth to be told in deaths of daughter, ex-wife

Bexar County Clerk records show Olsen was arrested by the sheriff’s office in March 2014 on a misdemeanor charge of assault bodily injury after she was accused of striking another man with her hand. The alleged victim wasn’t Wheeler. That case was dismissed in 2015 when the man failed to appear in court, records show.

Attorney defends owner of Boerne-area home where bodies were found | KTSA

The attorney representing Nichol Olsen’s boyfriend is lashing out at authorities for calling his client a ‘person of interest.’

Charlie Wheeler claims he found the bodies of Olsen and her two daughters when he returned to his home in Anaqua Springs Ranch the morning of January 10.

[...]

“There is no definition in the law of a person of interest. It means absolutely nothing. It just serves to frankly, slander a name by innuendo,” attorney Mark Stevens told KTSA News.

When asked where Wheeler was when the shootings occurred, he said,”I’m not going to tell you what his side of the story is because I don’t want this case tried in the media. Unfortunately, that’s already started,” said Stevens.

He’s also surprised that Salazar isn’t accepting the medical examiner’s ruling.

“That’s pretty surprising because I’ll bet the medical examiner knows a good deal more about that sort of thing than the sheriff does,” Stevens told KTSA News.

[...]

“It’s clear that there’s no probable cause to arrest him. It’s a very imprecise and very misleading way to describe a person,” said Stevens.

And it is possible that CW was not interested or involved with the children.

If so, it would certainly not be the first time that children were not the priority. We certainly see it often enough here. MOO and all

He probably wasn’t but that doesn’t mean he murdered them. The kids had fathers and large extended families that appeared to be very active in their lives. IMO they didn’t need Mom’s BF to act like some father figure or be interested in their lives. Who knows how many BFs they may have met through the years.

i'm thinking the amount of gunshot residue on nichols hands might be telling. if she fired at least 3 shots the quantity of residue would be greater than if she just had supposedly shot herself. in other words, it would seem to me that the amount of residue on a hand would be greater from 3 shots than just one. if her hand just shows residue levels of one shot then the case for 3 murders staged to look like murder/suicide would imo be stronger. as always all my comment are my opinion only.

I think the tests just show presence of residue and not the quantity. Her prints would also be on the gun.

It sounds like the Sheriff, a politician, is merely trying to placate the public criticism by insisting they are further investigating. imo, the case is going to be closed as a murder/suicide.

A question for this group. Have you guys seen other cases like this in which the level of blame and animosity from friends and family towards the dead person's partner was super high during the investigation even though the partner was not a suspect? Just wondering how the scenario in other cases like this might have turned out.

Not saying I fully believe it is how this case will play out. Just wondering aloud.
