A former planning analyst at the University of Texas Health Science Center was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison for receiving child , while a Pleasanton man pleaded guilty to possessing it.

U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez could have given Patrick Daniel McLean 14 to 171/2 years recommended by sentencing guidelines but chose a sentence closer to what other child- defendants have been getting in federal court in San Antonio. :furious:

McLean, 49, of San Antonio, was a facilities planning analyst at UTHSC until U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested him in February. Forensic examinations by ICE found McLean had 1,982 images and 473 videos of child on his home computer and digital media.

An instructional video on how to sexually abuse a child??!! That is disgusting. How "big" of this man to apologize after some of the vile comments he recorded himself saying.

I found this comment under the article very interesting, written by someone who claims to have had the job of interviewing incoming inmates:

"........I will never forget the many multi-offenders whom stated that it wasn't their fault, as they knew they were sick, but to blame the judges who allow them to reoffend."


Can this interviewer be found and asked to write a paper on his experience so it can be distributed to all judges in this country? Listen to the pedophiles, they know of what they speak!!
