Ugh I was afraid of that so the cement didn’t work apparently ?
That are they dismembered her considering she was in concrete.
This was probably done on the evening she disappeared, which would have before CID became involved.
He's probably killed before. I don't believe he became what he was over night. He did all this to calmly and casually, and then went to work everyday like it was nothing being in a space that she worked in daily. Sick.

According to the Army, one suspect is dead, and one suspect is in custody.

The rumor of one or more additional suspects is just that, a rumor. Time will tell.

Oh ok. Thank you so much!

So Tim Miller said "freshly-mixed concrete". I took that as it was still fresh-as in hours to days. Did I misinterpret that wrong? I'm sorry for the confusion.

If he did it alone, then I’d be open to that. I continue to believe this was done to prevent Vanessa from reporting him for sexual harassment, and that this murder was not a sexually motivated killing.

We’ll have to wait for the evidence, but I think this was a purposeful act by a sick sociopath.

I think Tim was explaining that wet concrete was poured on top of her, as opposed to her being covered in pieces of concrete or something. It appears the suspects were equipped with all the tools necessary to hide a body (concrete mix, lime, shovel), but did a sloppy job.

I think all of this (Fire, burial, concrete) happened at the same time.

Okay, I understand.

I guess I thought he would've just said "the suspect(s) poured concrete over the body" versus "freshly-mixed concrete". Hmm.

I am a bit confused, or maybe not. I have heard that she was sexually harassed by a superior. But, the articles about the suspect that committed suicide say he is a junior soldier. That doesn't sound like a superior. So, did he sexually harass her as well, then kill her when she threatened to tell? Are there multiple suspects in the sexual harassment? Or was this junior soldier asked to "take care of her" by a superior? Just seriously contemplating what is going on here.

He was in fact a Specialist and not a Sergeant. BUT as the NCO in charge of the Arms Room, he was very much considered a superior, since she worked under him.

That makes sense. One thing that's bothersome about all this is how no one was in trouble for false accountability. Forgot which UCMJ article it falls under, but accountability is a big thing and punishable under UCMJ for falsely accounting for someone, and that didn't happen. Even after they found out she was missing. Something doesn't add up with the COC.

Vanessa Guillen: A timeline of events and everything we know about her disappearance

Family attorney, Natalie Khawam, said Wednesday during a press conference that two suspects involved in Guillen’s disappearance are in custody and a third killed himself.

Below is a detailed timeline of the events surrounding Guillen’s disappearance:

  • April 22 - Guillen was seen in the parking lot of her barracks at the Fort Hood Army post around 1 p.m.
  • April 23 - Guillen was reported missing to the US Army Criminal Investigation Division
  • June 9 - $15,000 reward offered for information leading to Guillen’s whereabouts by Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID)
  • June 11 - Actress Salma Hayek joined the search for Guillen and pledged to post Guillen’s photo every day until she’s found
  • June 13 - Houston rapper Baby Bash pledged to add $5,000 to reward to find Guillen
  • June 15- CID increased reward for information that leads to Guillen’s whereabouts to $25,000
  • June 16 - The League of United Latin American Citizens announced that it would match the $25,000 reward, bringing the total reward to $50,000
  • June 18 - The army initiated sexual harassment investigation into allegations concerning Pfc. Vanessa Guillen
  • June 23 - Fort Hood leadership updated Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, Congressional staff members from Senator Ted Cruz, Congressman John Carter, Congressman Roger Williams, and members of Vanessa Guillén’s family discuss details of the ongoing investigation, according to U.S. Army officials
  • June 23 - Army officials “convinced now that there is foul play involved,” Texas Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia said in a press conference
  • June 30 - Partial human remains were found near the Leon River during the search for Guillen
  • July 1 - A man wanted in connection with a Fort Hood criminal investigation fatally shot himself. Khawam said he was the suspect in Vanessa’s disappearance. The Army confirmed that one military suspect was dead in connection with Guillen’s disappearance.
  • July 1 - Khawam says the body found June 30 is believed to be Guillen’s
  • July 1 - A civilian suspect was arrested in connection to Guillen’s disappearance and was taken to Bell County Jail to await charges
Wonderful - did you post in media thread yet - thank you !

Someone might have just been in trouble. They just didn't give that info out. Maybe they'll address that tomorrow.

The lawyer did say that the Commander said it so nonchalantly on the accuracy of reporting.

Yes, AR stood to lose rank and benefits.

Was her vehicle left at the Ammo room or does LE think it was used to transport her body (the white truck?)

I think he meant they poured freshly mixed cement over the body. She was probably killed and buried on the same day, or at least shortly after.
I'm guessing she was killed on the day she disappeared. The person who claimed she was signed in at 3:00 pm that day was probably AR. Jmo

Just hard to believe a E4 Specialist had that much leeway in a company to carry all this out with COVID going on regardless of where he worked. Seems as if he was in charge of the Company and Soldiers in it.

I think I found the "source" on who suspected the white vehicle. It wasn't about her vehicle. Someone had reported that her husband swore he saw her and the suspect at a Walmart that day or week. This spouse was asking for them to check Walmart cameras, as he(husband) saw them using a white van. JMO.

And I don't intend to "add" to the confusion. I just wanted to clarify, that someone specifically said "white van".

She wasn’t supposed to be working that day, but apparently was called in the night before, as they had inventory to finish. I think this could have thrown things.

There is also the possibility that it was just AR and Vanessa, and he was in charge of reporting who was present. Obviously that would significantly delay things.

Once we get more information it will be easier to figure out what shortcomings there were.

It’s my understanding it was left in the parking lot. Only Vanessa and her phone were missing.
