Prosecutors will ask Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle to retest DNA in a triple murder case to see whether serial killer Angel Maturino Resendiz could be the true culprit instead of the Austin man condemned for the crime.

But the so-called "Railroad Killer" has been linked to a string of murders nationwide, including two in Georgia for which other men were condemned to die and later released.
