MISSING: Raul “Rudy” Guerra - Houston, Texas (1/24/19)

64 year-old Raul “Rudy” Guerra mysteriously disappeared about January 24th 2019 in northeast Houston, Texas. Rudy’s family told Texas EquuSearch that he had entered a hospice facility just hours earlier to care for him while he was enduring the painful last stages of Cancer. Rudy is of light complexion, and he has multiple tattoos on his body. Rudy has short gray (salt & pepper) hair, and he may possibly be wearing his glasses. Rudy was last known to be wearing a light jacket, gray sweatpants and house shoes. Rudy is in a very weak condition, and he may be disoriented. Oh, no. I hope they find him. I just wonder if he didn’t go missing on purpose. End stages of a painful cancer and hospice aren’t pleasant circumstances for anyone. Maybe he has no interest in suffering the rest of his days? Yes, hospice will alleviate any and all pain that they can, but there’s only so much they can do. I’m hoping he’s found a bit confused, but safe, and that hospice is able to make the rest of his days very comfortable. Bless his heart, man. That’s so rough. jmo

UPDATE: The active search for 64 year-old Rudy Guerra will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Monday – January 28th 2019. The search staging area will be located at 8849 Grandriver Dr. in northeast Houston, Texas 77078. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATV. Be prepared for a thick brushy terrain. Thank goodness.

Hopefully the hospice staff will give him whatever medicine he needs to alleviate any pain. Cancer is a cruel disease and its not fair to anyone who gets it. Wish someday there would be a total cure to reverse it.

Some promising breakthroughs and treatments lately but we have a long ways to go still.

I have a close relative that went through Chemo and Radiation treatments and I dont wish that on anyone.

I’m so happy they found him!!!! He deserves to be as comfortable as possible. I hope they can take all the pain away.
