Rebecca Suhrheinrich, 59, has missed two days of work since last Friday. The co-workers searched her apartment — near Dominion Park Drive and Blue Ash Drive in north Harris County — where they found "what appeared to be signs of a struggle."

Police found Suhrheinrich's car in at an apartment nearby.

I’m wondering if she must not have a lot of family, or if family is not local, it is odd to me that her coworkers searched her place. If I was missing I would think family would look for me before coworkers... maybe that’s why there doesn’t seem to be much info or photos?

Her apartment is located in the 200 block of Dominion Park.

Investigators are talking to Rebecca's family and friends to try to determine what may have happened.

You know, I just wonder after reading the above news articles regarding this 58-59 year old woman, . how did they get her out of that apartment and absolutely no one noticed? MSM stated that there were large amounts of blood, so they obviously took her out bleeding? I am a night owl, and any strange noise after dark brings me to a window. It's just amazing that no one saw anything. Where is she and why was she removed from the scene? Is it possible she is alive somewhere?

A neighbor says he was able to see into Rebecca's apartment as detectives came and went, and there appeared to be blood on the walls [everywhere, even on the ceiling fan].

The woman’s neighbors said they heard someone yelling for help Friday, but did not call authorities.

"She said she’s calling the police, and I said, ‘No. It has nothing to do with us. Leave it alone,’” the neighbor said.

This is just crazy to me that someone hears somebody scream help and does not call the cops!! I understand not wanting to be involved but dang! Ive called 911 for someone gave an address said I didnt want to be involved then hung up and the cops were there within minutes and I was never involved. I cant imagine ignoring someone begging for help.

Neighbors from hell MOO. Reminds me of that horrific story years ago where all the neighbors watched out their window while a young woman was beaten to death. Hope they find out who did this. It sounds like unimaginable horror in her home.

“Friday we were sitting down at the table, I was also on the phone and I heard someone scream ‘help me,” said a woman who did not want to use her name.

She said her friend suggested calling the police, but she advised against it.

"She said she’s calling the police, and I said, ‘No. It has nothing to do with us. Leave it alone,'” the neighbor explained. “I feel like I could have did (sic) something, I feel like I could of did (sic) something, at the same time I didn’t want to be in nobody’s business.”

“It sounded like people were either throwing objects or a person was getting thrown against a wall for about a minute or two,” said a different neighbor.

Second story updated with a little more info from the neighbors. This is just awful. They just sat on their hands while this woman was murdered next door because it was “none of their business”. Screw that, I hear people yelling for help and I’m calling 911. I can’t believe they would actually say that to a reporter. I am flummoxed.

This is horrifying...this poor woman. I live alone in an apt and wonder now if anyone would call 911 for me if I was screaming. I thought so until now as I have had the same neighbors on all sides for a while, but who knows? The mom of the young woman who lives alone next door came to my door once to beg me to call police if I ever heard anything as she was so worried about her living alone. Sometimes this world is terrible in so many ways...

Jeffrey Andre McDonald, 46, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the disappearance of 58-year-old Rebecca Suhrheinrich. It was not immediately clear how McDonald was connected to Suhrheinrich.

I can't find where they ever did. Her son, I read, was helping with the investigation. I'd love to know if there was a link between them or if this was random, etc. I saw "FOUR" mug shots of him. He's a real winner, and it's a shame he was on the loose again to wreak more havoc.
