Port Arthur — The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating a missing person cold case from 2016 and needs your help.
On or around November 9, 2016, Ronald Jacobs Sr. was reported missing by his daughter. At the time, Jacobs lived in the 300 block of Gulfway Drive with one of his sons.
Jacobs was described as disabled and needing assistance to walk. He used a cane for mobility but it was found at his residence
He missed a scheduled VA doctor’s appointment on November 1, which was out of character for him. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since his daughter reported him missing. Police suspect foul play.
