Life without parole. Hope he rots. I still get tearful thinking about this case.

Gammage’s mother, Frankie Ann Gammage, was forceful in her tone when she took the stand, even making Jones divert his stare from his lap to a large picture of her son that stood at the front of the courtroom.

She told Jones how pleased she was with the sentence because death “would be way too easy.”

“Daniel Jones, you murdered and tortured my son,” she said. “There was no reason for this. A human being could never do the things you did to another or to an animal. You’re a demon, a demon of the devil. No creature of God could ever do this.”

Grieving mother tells killer: 'Go ahead and stare me down if you think you can'

Thank's for this. I hope one day there will be some peace for Frankie Gammage and the rest of Ronnie Joe Gammage Jr.'s family and friends. What was done to him is too horrific to imagine. I hope all three spend the rest of their lives in prison. What is happening to this world? This is happening all too often, and it's very disturbing.

Darling Ronnie. I still think of him often. Such a sweet soul.

May these monsters rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

From last month:

The final suspect in a brutal Upshur County capital murder case has been sentenced to life in prison after entering a guilty plea on Tuesday.

Andrew Norwine, 23, appeared in the Upshur County 115th District Court at 9:00 a.m., to enter his plea in connection with the December 2012 kidnapping and slaying of Ronnie Joe Gammage...

According to arrest affidavits, Norwine and fellow convicted murderers Sarah Haslam and Daniel Jones slashed Gammage's tire at a local restaurant and tricked him into getting into Haslam's car claiming they would take him to get a new tire. Instead, the trio drove Gammage to a location where he was beaten before they put him in the trunk of the car and took him out to Upshur County. Norwine, Haslam and Jones then beat Gammage again before slitting his throat and sitting him on fire.
