That shot of the driver is so so clear! :rocker:

And the shot of the guy sitting shotgun should be clear to anyone who knows him!

Now I pray Ronnie comes back safe and sound!:praying:

I hope they have someones name since they said the check with was written to one of the people in the car and since they had no ID maybe they dont have a license and they are high school age perhaps a year book from schools in the area could shed light on who these people are??? I hope he is found safe!

That driver looks pretty darn young... Doesn't he???

Not yet a seasoned thief....?

I really believe the driver is a female. The guy riding shotgun does not look happy at all, imo. ?? Someone will recognize them. This is not good tho. Where's Ronnie? Praying they catch these thieves quickly.

So this is the same day after he was last seen at 3AM at the Waffle House. Hoping the restaurant has surveillance as well and wondering where "they" approached him? There or elsewhere? Wish they stated what time the surveillance video captured them at the bank. What 20 min time period "after he left" are they talking about tho?

A $100 ea for them....and they've probably harmed him for that. LE has to have a make, model and year for their car too by now. I'd think, anyway. His cell pings???

Prayers for Ronnie's safe return and for hope and strength for his family.
This is just horrible. :please:

From what I see reported, he was on mental disability, so he could have mental health issues, some sort of personality disorder, rather than being developmentally delayed. His mom said he had muscular dystrophy and couldn't run. He was extremely tall, so that along with the MD might have made him a little awkward. He may have walked slowly, possibly swung his upper body side to side a little, seemed a bit "stiff" with his movements.

Since he was living in his own apartment and taking care of himself, I think he is probably fairly high-functioning. I worded with MHMR for a number of years, and we had clients who lived on their own, although they were classified as mentally challenged. Most of them functioned quite well with some weekly supervision by case workers. They cooked their own meals, did their own laundry and housekeeping.

Sorry, just noticed I was speaking of him in the past tense. Don't have time to go back and edit, so just look over my errors. I certainly hope he is alive somewhere and will be found. But it does sound ominous.

And he had a driver's license. Certain diseases that fall under the umbrella of Muscular Distrophy involve the brain, due to defects in metabolism.
I am terribly worried about Ronnie. Thank you for caring about others who truly need support...

That is definitely a female- if you watch closely- her chest bounces up & down with her...anyone found contact info for Mom? She would benefit greatly from help from her local MDA....

The chest of the driver does look like that of a female or a male with the medical condition where the breasts grow to resemble female breasts.

BBM the 20 mins sounds like Ronnie had just left the bank himself. If that is the case, they need to search fairly close to the bank itself unless they had thrown him into their trunk.

WTH is wrong with people? Prayers to his family.

The driver of the car looks really young and at first looks like a male but has the body build of a female with fairly big breasts. I was wondering if the driver was a girl. The driver looks maybe oriental like Chinese or Korean of Vietnamese. Driver looks fairly short. The passenger in the front could easily be a high school boy and he looks tall and thin. He also looks bored or unhappy. Someone must know these kids and/or recognize the car they were in. I hope they are caught soon and held and questioned. Could anyone see what the back seat passengers looked like?

O/T.... TXLady... My parents were born and raised in Texas... And most of my relatives live(ed) there.... Our family spent many wonderful times in Texas as I was growing up... And beyond...

In fact one of my very best friends from CA married a southern gentleman... And they live there now... Ft. Worth area... Keller, specifically..

My parents/relatives are in the Austin/Round Rock area!

I consider myself part Texan... LOVE Texas...And am a Cowboys football fan!

:rocker:

Thanks, I'm proud to be a Texan. Lived here all my life. Saw a FB status of someone the other day that said something like Texas is not the South, and not the West... it's just Texas. So true! Actually I think it's kind of both.

Yes.. I have even heard that Texas is kind of a Country of its own!

I kind of agree with that, too! :D

I loved my job back then. Loved working with them. Had a female client who I was very partial to, who called me "Sis" all the time. Found out that she actually had a sister with the same first name as me. They were all special to me, though. I look at Ronnie's picture and just know that he was a loving and friendly guy and probably trusted everybody. How dare somebody take advantage of him and steal his money!
I hope they find these hoodlums and then maybe we'll find Ronnie. I feel so bad for his mother and brother.

Bless your heart, TXLady, for helping these people see their self-worth!

And... thank you for providing insight into Ronnie's possible situation!

:seeya:

Well, I don't know his situation, I'm just guessing. His mom says he has a mental disability, though, so that along with the MD could mean he's slightly mentally challenged but still able to function normally.

As I said, I loved working with them. I'm retired now, but still miss it sometimes.

I agree with you all, the driver of the vehicle in the video looks female, and very young. I wonder if she could also be someone who is in the MHMR system and knew him through there. It's just a thought. They enjoy being with their own kind, and I am sorry if that's not putting it very delicately, I am tired and can't think straight.

Just glad they have a lead. And praying that Ronnie is still alive!!

I really hope that image is all over the local news, there's no way noone knows who that is.
Fingers crossed they have, or get, other CCTV that shows that car and the plates.

They already know who the driver is and she was turned in,i don't have a link so i guess i should say its a rumor, all the info came from local news fb page under comments..but i followed the lead and found the drivers fb it was her!http://www.facebook.com/KETKnbc

Someone had to have seen something. It was still light out, and Ronnie is a big guy. My blood boiled watching the video. She is smiling and laughing :furious:!

Only 20 minutes between the time Ronnie went to the bank and these cretins.......what could they have done in that short period of time? I'm wondering if these are the same people who robbed him in November.

  • #79
Sounds to me like these could be the same ones who robbed him a couple weeks before he went missing. If this surveillance tape is from Dec. 4, it explains the timing. Disability checks are usually direct deposited the 3rd of every month. This was at a bank in Gilmer. I don't know the exact distance between there and Longview, but it's not far. They didn't go to a local bank, maybe thinking they wouldn't be recognized?
The article says something about 20 minutes after he left... are they talking about when he left the bank? This was a bank in Gilmer. I don't know the exact distance between there and Longview, but it's not far. Could he have been with them when they tried to cash the check? If he had been there a few minutes before, why would he be using a bank in Gilmer when he lives in Longview? Unless that's where his mother lives.
So many questions. This is really bugging me!!

I hope that's true, and I hope they can find out where he is and what they did with him. If she's as young as she looks, she'll fold pretty quick.
Thanks for following up on this through FB. I get lost in there.
