Reading the details of the crime makes me so sad for poor Ronnie and so angry. This must be so hard for his family and my prayers are with them.

OMG!! What they did to him is horrible!!

Hell won't be hot enough for these monsters!!!! I am not a big supporter of the DP, either, but sometimes, it's just called for, and this is one of those times.

I am SO MAD about this!! This sweet guy probably never hurt another person in his entire life!

Well, one good thing.. there won't be a trial, since they've admitted what they did, so it won't waste taxpayer money, and no long appeals to get through. I would hate to be their attorney. Can you imagine having to defend these non-humans???

Rest in peace, Ronnie, you're free from pain and sorrow. No one will ever hurt you again!
Prayers for his sweet mother, I wish I could take half her pain and heartbreak and make it my own, just to give her some peace.

I'm in shock. I have a nephew like Ronnie. His heart as big as the ocean, and so easily taken in. First case to make me cry. Oh, Ronnie, I am so so sorry those monsters put you through such torture, my prayer is that you fill the arms of Jesus with your big old self. You deserve joyful life everlasting. Love and prayers to your family, man.

So sad.. Sitting here and could fall apart crying - so sad for this guy and his family. How cruel.

And so angry I could probably take care of them with my own bare hands.

RIP Ronnie.

Woe is me. It is hard enough to try to understand how and why these things happen but you throw into the mix that there were 4 people involved and it just makes it harder. Not one person in the bunch had a heart, a mouth, a conscious?

In graduate school, we were told to watch "The Lord of the Flies" and write a paper. I don't remember what I wrote about but I remember that movie and the sick, disgusted feeling I had after watching it. I feel the same way now.

Demetra, thank you for that fantastic picture of Ronnie. Prayers to his family.

I hope they don't try to say drugs caused this. There is much more than drugs going on to cause 4 people to get enjoyment out of robbing, beating, and viciously killing another person. That girl driving that car in the video was pleased as punch with what went down. Down right giddy with pleasure. Sickening.

visitation-12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Service-2:00 pm

You cant help but cry when you look at the support page for RJ everything his friends say i can see in his sweet face even in his pictures..I am just heartbroken that these punks had nothing better to do than still the life of a innocent man! This case grabbed me by the heart my brother was in wheel chair/double amputee and was robbed of his ssi check a few times by punks like them, he died 4 years ago but he was a big east TX cowboy like RJ with a huge heart!I am adding the link again just in case anyone wants updates from family/friends..http://www.facebook.com/BringingRonnieJoeGammageHome

Thanks so much for posting the FB page. Yes, it is so heartbreaking to read the post but it is great to know that RJ was truly loved by everyone.

I cry everytime I think of his Mom. She will never fully recover from the loss. I pray she has friends and families around to support her during this time, especially since it is the Holidays.

Demetra, I'm so sorry about your brother's passing and that he was victimized as well. There's a special place in hell for those who prey upon the defenseless.

Yep. Sociopathic predators. Cold, calculating and evil. It's appalling to me that 3, possibly 4 people where involved. I just wonder if there are others that were victimized by these sociopaths. If not, the level of violence escalated pretty quickly.

Haven't heard anything new as far as the third suspect,but the fb in support of RJ has been wonderful there are friends/family/and strangers waiting for justice for RJ. his sister and mom gave the address for the funeral..A memorial service has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Crowley Funeral Home in Gilmer .The funeral home said visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m. there,Funeral Home is located at 305 W. Harrison Street., Gilmer,Texas.I have dreamed about RJ and what these sick people did to him,I will never get over the fact they beat him,then drove him 25 minutes into the woods dear lord i keep wondering what he must have been feeling or thinking for that amount of time? I pray they catch all involved.What a sad sick world we live in!!!
