I'm no good at posting maps but if someone could map 300 E. Rundberg Austin Tx you will see a wooded area with trails....I wonder if that's where they are searching. That block is only a few from where she allegedly walked away from the motel.

A: hotel 9106 N I-35
B: 300 E Rundberg Ln

Shouldn't this area have already been searched, re-searched and triple searched?

Yes. The police said on the news in the links above that they have been there before. It is a 10 acre area.

That whole area is pretty shady/nasty. :twocents:

In the video, the reporter states the tip came in from an unrelated citizen 4-6 weeks ago (Statesman says 6 mos) and the search area is a ten acre parcel. Also, says the FBI is assisting.

Statesman just updated with 11:30 CT update:
A tip that police received six months ago led them to the empty lot, where a cadaver dog had twice alerted them to the presence of human remains, said Cmdr. Mark Spangler. More cadaver dogs were sent to the field Thursday, and Spangler said that officials are prepared to search past nightfall, if necessary.

It's great to see movement in this case. I hope the search is successful. Roxanne has been missing for far too long.

It's probably like Caylee Anthony where the cadaver dogs hit in the car and the yard because Caylee's dead body had been in both spots previously. Roxanne's body was probably moved. :(

Probably true. The news now, the police said there were 2 specific spots the dogs hit on. That is where they focused the search today, and found nothing. :( They are saying they will continue to investigate other tips.
