Who Killed Sam Cook: Family still searching for answers in seven year old cold case
Seven years ago, a Lufkin man was murdered in cold blood while he slept in his bed. Sam Cook was shot three times on September 11, 2007 shortly after midnight.
Samuel Cook on September 12th in 2007 at 12:30 a.m. was seen near his home waving for help. When authorities arrived, he was found dead. The Angelina Sherriff Department believes he had been badly beaten inside his home and had left for help. It appeared that he had put up quite a fight and had been shot several times. This is still an unsolved case today and his sister, Sharon, has begged in social Media for help. If anyone knows anything about this case who can help find the perpetrators, it would be greatly appreciated.
