I'm pretty sure we need an arrest or MSM to report before we can post here. Hang tight, it's coming. IMO

If that's true then Dad had to know. IMO I pray it's not true.
What if something happened that day and that's why he wasn't reported missing until 6pm? IMO

the only thing worse than a parent harming their child, must be for the child to look and see that it’s someone they love who is hurting them.

and this is generally speaking, because we don’t have full info in this case.

imo, jmo

Not if he(dad) " believed" the girlfriends story of mom and "cop" taking Samuel away.... dad would think mom has Samuel.......pieces coming together finally.
No, if Sam has been deceased longer than he's been missing (the 27th) the dad definitely has some explaining to do!!!
and no we cannot sleuth anyone as names have not been released.

Not for the page, not until there is an official named msm article or from official source. Shouldn’t be long so standing by with info isn’t a bad idea.

totally agree. Once I saw a clip/snippet of DO upset, I did not believe he had a hand in this..

this is infuriating.
Imo my gut is saying this case will take an even more nauseating turn or 2. It will be even more heartwrenching. I think I'm going to need extra tums for this one. Jmo

HOUSTON – An attorney representing the mother of missing 6-year-old Samuel Olson held a press conference Tuesday evening to discuss the case.

Attorney Marco González spoke on the behalf of Sarah Olson and discussed the child custody case and about her missing son around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Samuel’s father, Dalton Olson, and his girlfriend, Theresa Balboa, told investigators that the boy was last seen last Thursday in southwest Houston. Balboa said Samuel’s mother and a man dressed as a police officer came to her apartment and took the child.

Moreover, while the boy’s father alleges the boy’s mother took him, the Houston Police Department said when Sarah Olson was questioned, she told investigators that she does not know of his whereabouts either.

A spokesperson for the Department of Family and Protective Services would not confirm who had custody of the boy, but acknowledged it is working with investigators.

“We don’t have details to share because investigations are confidential by law, but Child Protective investigators are working alongside law enforcement to try and locate Samuel,” wrote Melissa Lanford, a public relations officer for DFPS.

Police said that the last verifiable place Samuel was seen was at his elementary school on April 30.

González said his client had primary custody and was denied for many months from getting the child. He said Sarah hasn’t had access to Samuel since the last time she saw him in January 2020. González said Sarah wanted them to speak so she could have a voice in the case.

He stated that she is very emotional, stressed and wants to know where her child is located. González also said the story Balboa told investigators and the media was a lie and made up, and confirmed she hasn’t seen her child in nearly a year. The attorney said Sarah hasn’t been able to get in touch with Dalton or the grandmother, so she hasn’t had much communication with Samuel.

The attorney said Sarah hasn’t been able to get in touch with Dalton or the grandmother, so she hasn’t had much communication with Samuel.

González said the father took Samuel and failed to return him. He said Samuel went two months without going to school before being taken to another school in Jersey Village. When Sarah and Dalton divorced, the custody agreement allegedly placed the child with the mother, which has not been modified since 2019, according to González. He said Sarah would initially exchange the child through the paternal grandmother, Tonya Olson.

Found in a tote bag.
Ugh.
Wonder if he died elsewhere and was brought to that location ?
The cameras will show who was in and out of that room.
I'm curious if LE received a tip, or if someone 'talked' ?

Rest in peace and fly with the angels, precious Samuel !

I hope this vile person is as stupid as they are cruel. Could they have actually stayed there previously? Or have a connection with someone who does?

Is it a flophouse hotel where people pay to crash there a week at a time?
Exactly what I am leaning to think as well. moo

I have a strong feeling that it will be very eye opening into the mindset and dynamics JMO

They said "the body had been there for some time."

I wonder how long they mean?

"but said the body of the child was found in a tote bag located in a room on the west side of the motel complex. He also said there were indications were that the body had been there for some time."
I'm guessing since April 30th. MOO

Very interested in who is connected to that room, and who else knew. Probably not a fake cop, right?

According to the lawyer, Samuels mother has primary custody but has been unable see him or speak to him for almost a year.
how?? will police in TX not intervene and only refer them to family court? im in CA and they will enforce a CO most times.

Earlier today, I was watching the new here in Houston. They reported that no one has been able to contact the fathers girlfriend. The father kissed her as he left to join the search and that was the last time the family had contact with her. I wonder if this has anything to do with breaking the case. All around sad and senseless.
