...I also thought I saw someone else get out of the car (drivers side) and get into the truck, shorter, smaller stature. if that's legit then who climbed into the drivers seat to pull the car away?...

Now, I didn't catch that or even think of that, but wouldn't that be something-- a people switch. Hmm... going to watch the video again. I've already have watched it over and over, but things I missed show up when people point things out, so thanks for sharing what you think.​

I'm not 100%, I've also watched it a bunch and still not done but for some reason I see someone getting out of the car and into the truck. I'm going to watch it another 100 times.

I don't think a contact gunshot wound has much of a splatter pattern and my guess the caliber would play a big part. Contact meaning barrel of the gun is against the head. If this was a murder/suicide, the boyfriend (in my opinion would most likely be right handed to shoot her in the back of her head behind right ear but if you turn the gun on yourself you would most likely shoot yourself in the temple or directly in the side. Not reach behind your own head and if left handed, you still could have shot her on the right but it's awkward and shooting yourself on the right with your left hand, nearly impossible. However, someone sitting passenger side back seat would have no problem with her right side right handed and all the boyfriend would have to do is look a little bit down or left and same outcome. I am no expert but that makes sense to me. Probably shot him first knowing that she's very pregnant with a car seat on her and not going to be able to get out the door and run quickly. Killer took boyfriend's phone because probably last number in there was the killer's! I think maybe LE knows it was a murder but is trying to buy more time so that the suspect doesn't disappear. All just opinions

I’ve done some research where the video was taken and the optima is found appear to be in the same complex but not the same place. The car drove off in the direction of the location where the car was found. If it continued straight and then turns right it becomes the backside of the apartments there are no doors or balconies so no cameras. It looks very dark and there’s very few cars that even park back there. In the pic I saw there were only 2 cars parked the entire length of three buildings. The only other thing back there are dumpsters.

Just as if the Kia perp driver was familiar enough with the apartment complex to know where no one parks because there are no CCTV cameras or eyes watching their vehicles.

San Antonio police have made three arrests in connection with the shootings of Savanah Soto and Matthew Guerra.

It’s now been confirmed by ME that MG manner of death is homicide

“ Bexar County Medical Examiner provided the cause of death for Guerra as “contact gunshot wound to the head.” The manner of death was reported as a homicide late Thursday.

The ME’s Office positively identified Soto as the other victim. Her cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, and her manner of death was reported as a homicide.”

If it's the one I think you are talking about, the arrest time was before the presser. I doubt LE would hold a live presser if suspect was already in custody. Initials TM?

Savanah Soto, a pregnant 18-year-old woman who had been reported missing, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, are believed to have been found dead in a car at a Northwest Side Apartment on Tuesday. Guerra’s family spoke out about the case for the first time on Wednesday.

Matthew had charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon, evading arrest and domestic assault. His assault case was from last Christmas, and the victim was Savanah Soto.

Nearly a month after that incident, court documents show Soto requested the charges get dropped.

“They were both drinking more than they should have, and they went back home, and unfortunately, it turned physical,” said Gabriel. “Once Savanah was pregnant, we had talked all the time, and to my knowledge, he never put his hands on her while she was pregnant.”

Gabriel Guerra said though his son had a criminal history and his relationship with Soto wasn’t perfect, they were happy, and Matthew wouldn’t have killed her or the baby.

“Do you think it’s possible that Matthew’s history, or people he shouldn’t been around, could have led to this?” asked KSAT Reporter John Paul Barajas.

“I have no idea what could have caused this –– for someone to kill any baby, any woman carrying a baby,” answered Gabriel Guerra.

SS previously requested a restraining order against MG and was able to later amend the order to allow civil contact between the parties. However, assault charges filed by a DA cannot be dropped by the victim. IMO, it's possible SS did not appear in court to testify against MG and the charges dropped, resulting in probation for MG. MOO

SAN ANTONIO — Matthew Guerra’s father has spoken out for the first time since his son and his pregnant girlfriend, Savanah Soto, were found dead.

“We’re just all crushed and trying to pick up the pieces and go from here,” Gabriel Guerra said.

Both families are not yet sure what exactly led up to their deaths, or who killed them.

Savanah was a week past her due date and was set to be induced at a hospital Saturday night to give birth to her baby boy, Fabian.

“I hope they pay for whatever they did to my daughter,” said Gloria Cordova, Savanah’s mother.

“Why was she in the front and he was in the back?” Cordova asked. “Obviously, that says someone else was there.”

Cordova suspects Matthew was involved with illegal activity.

Matthew’s father said he knew his son had a criminal history which includes unlawful carry of a weapon, evading police and an assault charge causing bodily injury.

“He didn’t hang around the best crowd,” Guerra said.

“They were inseparable. Was it a perfect relationship? No but she definitely was not a prisoner there,” Guerra said. “Her and Matthew were both overjoyed and couldn’t wait for Fabian’s arrival.”

He believed Matthew was going to change for the better once he became a father.

Seems SS's mother does not believe the violence against her daughter and MG were related to her son's[Ethan Soto] 2022 murder where the defendant [Victor Rivas] in her son's murder is still awaiting trial. Let's hope LE are as lucky with with social media to solve this case too.
