Assault Bodily Injury- Married What Does that Mean? - The Locke Law Group

What Is Meant by Married? Or Fam/Hou?

"In Texas, Domestic Violence occurs when violence is present between the actor and any member of their family, their household, a significant other or a spouse. For some reason, Bexar County will shorten this in their system to either Married or to Fam/Hou. What you are seeing when you see this is just a code, it is not a formal charge or an information (the document that brings you to court)."

I picture it going down like this - MG is driving, SS passenger. When they arrive wherever, there's two perps - one forces MG out of the drivers seat into the backseat behind the driver. One perp gets in driver's seat, one in back passenger. But there's the carseat back there so they make SS hold it, somehow between her belly and dashboard.
Back passenger perp is right handed, shoots MG, which would have his right side to the perp, and shoots SS between the headrest and door - right side of her head.
Obviously this is all speculation but it would explain them both having wounds to right side, MG being in the backseat, car seat being on SS lap IMO

I think perplexing is a good description.

From the top, I would assume MG has more than one cell phone. Perhaps they both intentionally left their “regular” phones at the apartment, leaving with just his “work” phone to conduct a quick “business” transaction. This would explain the candle left burning and her phone being left at the apartment. They weren’t headed to the hospital, so they wouldn’t take the hospital bag.

They go to wherever this “business” transaction is to take place. It would make sense for MG to be driving with SS in the passenger seat. They arrive, MG gets out and into the rear driver side seat while the “customer” gets in behind SS. It’s likely there’s an infant car seat already installed in the rear middle seat. The infant bucket type seat comes off of the base, where it could be handed up to SS to free up space for the transaction.

At some point, something goes wrong. Who knows what or why. The customer shoots MG point blank behind his right ear. SS is only going to have a split second to react, she’s got an infant car seat in her lap, she’s 9 months pregnant, and probably still has her seat belt on. Customer grabs her by the back of her head, shoots her behind her right ear. Both of them dead. Easily no exit wounds at all depending on the type of gun used, or exit wounds towards the seat or bottom of the vehicle.

Customer gets out, gets into driver seat and takes off. Calls up fat dude in Chevy Silverado. Sets up meeting place. Cue video footage.

Customer takes MG burner phone and the gun used, dumps car in parking lot, leaves with fat Chevy dude.

I don’t think the car seat was over SS’s head as that would attract far more attention than a woman’s body sitting in the passenger seat. I think it was just handed to her to hold to make space in the middle of the back seat. I also don’t think bodies were moved. I think they were killed in the vehicle, then the vehicle was moved to where it was dumped.

Hopefully arrests are made soon. I could see it going either way… being related to MG’s lifestyle choices or SS’s brother’s murder and subsequent fallout.

Reminds me of the quote… Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future. Three lives gone in the blink of an eye for no sane reason.

@LadyL What ever that is that big fat guy takes from the truck to the car, gets handed to him from someone in the truck when it mysteriously appears in the door from the back seat and he grabs it.. Either that or big fat guy has magical powers to levitate things that are out of his reach.
Totally agree that someone hands big guy what I think looks like a cloth.
I disagree. The towel is present when the truck door opens and the fat guy gets out. I think the towel unfolds as he reaches for it
With all due respect, I totally disagree with a towel magically unfolding by itself. As I said earlier in this thread, MOO, someone is in the back seat of the truck. (I believe that makes four perps- two in the Kia, and two in the truck) MOO though.

I see it being handed to heavy guy at around the :32 second mark.

The white item definitely moves before he reaches back in to grab it. At first I thought maybe the wind could’ve caught it, but the trees appear completely still in the video, so I’m not sure that would make sense. But it also seems strange that a passenger would ride along behind the driver’s seat of the truck. Perhaps the plan was to circle back around and pick up the Kia driver who would ride in the front passenger seat of the truck.

Very interesting point you made. It's actually incredibly weird how eager that person in the back seat of the truck is to hand that towel off. Several possibilities in addition to yours comes to mind.
  • Person behind truck driver seat was already picked up by the truck, and is in hiding while they finish the job. That person knew they needed to clean up and wanted to be sure things got wiped down. Their own fingerprints?
  • Dangerous situation, worried about being ambushed, so one stays hidden in the back, there though as a surprised "body guard".

I definitely like the idea that the potential person in the back of the truck wanted to stay out of sight. That makes sense.

Do you think maybe they were so eager to hand off that towel to get the fingerprints and DNA evidence wiped down because they, themselves, had been in the car earlier helping with the hit? They're just waiting in the back seat of the truck now, hidden, trying to diligently, persistently hand off that towel. Make sure you wipe down (my or the) fingerprints.

If it is indeed a towel to wipe things down with, wouldn't they want to wipe the car down after it's parked where it was found? It just seems like they wipe it down, and then that person gets into the car and drives it away therefore putting their fingerprints in the car.

Exactly! It also looks like chubby guy touches the drivers side door of the Kia to open it further. That area would need to be wiped down to if they were trying to get rid of prints.

I think the towel was used to pass the murder weapon from the Kia to the truck. I can’t see how or why you would go to the trouble of turning up to clean up, spending all of 10 seconds doing so.

You're all making a lot of sense about the towel not being used to wipe down the car so lightly and haphazardly, and at the wrong time. It very well could've been to hand off the weapon. I wish I could see all the movements in the video better. Not sure I caught how the towel went back into the truck. Then, I see what looks like a big envelope.

(I do think if the driver of the Kia wiped the steering wheel down, and then used a towel or gloves to drive it further. They must've used gloves anyways, you'd think.)

So, did they wipe down the Kia more diligently after they parked it in the spot it was found? These perps seem kind of sloppy and stupid. I wonder how many of them live in the complex or nearby.

Police released footage on Thursday of two persons of interest being sought in connection with the case. One was captured driving the victims’ Kia Optima, and the other was seen driving a dark-colored pickup truck, police said.

The person of interest in the pickup truck is seen talking to the driver of the victims’ car. McManus said they do not believe either victim appears in the video.

McManus had called the case “very, very perplexing” following the discovery of the bodies.

“It was undetermined at that time whether we were going to be looking at it as a murder-suicide, or as a capital-murder investigation,” he said Thursday. “I think we’ve gotten past that point right now, unless we get evidence that would lead us to believe otherwise.”

I’m starting to think that the couple had planned to meet someone who would have likely been in the back seat and would explain gun shot wound. At some point, transferred MG to backseat, placing car seat upfront and driving to meet the second or third person to exchange vehicles for unknown reasons. Instinct is that the heavier set person was responsible (ability to control) and might explain why they are wearing only a t-shirt, blood could have been on their outerwear.

Simply speculation and MOO.

Heavier set person wouldn't even fit in that Kia!

@Knox I believe this is where the car was found parked. (red circle), Truck and KIA meet and where crime scene tape is seen in many of the photos.

<modsnip - not an approved podcast>

After the meet up, the Kia driver would have only swung round the corner and abandoned the car.

After reading the reviews of this area / complex it sounds horrific and one reviewer said 'shootings every day' and a couple of reviewers mention all the drug dealing and drug use.

Exactly this - I can't *see* another person in the truck but someone in the back of the truck hands him the white thing.

Wise. Don't go there.
The rating on the second link you provided is somehow 4 out of 5. Written reviews are not reflecting that.

@ 54:05 Ickedmel plays the video - he has zoomed in

Truck driver is a "hefty dude" and has the kind of belly that shakes and overlaps the waist due to its size

This is a good podcast. Lots of dynamic issues covered and discussed. He received the parking lot video while doing the podcast, and his zoom ins are good too. This is a good one to play in the background to catch all the different things he has researched.

IMO they have already done most of the cleanup they are going to dump the body, he touches that when he gets out of the truck so he cleans it before he forgets
