Yeah I had a calendar reminder set up and I got the notification that her trial started today but can't find any news covering her or the trial. TBH at this point nothing, NOTHING, surprises between the 2 of them. You'd be well into your sentence had you not prolonged facing a judge and jury! @Niner of course I don't mean you yourself when I said you. Lol

3/5/25 Wednesday, Trial Day 7: *Closing arguments done.
*The jury returned a unanimous verdict of guilty for the offense of capital murder after around two hours of deliberation. With the death penalty off the table in Fulbright’s case, he is automatically sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

4/3/25 Update: On April 3, 2025, Fulbright’s appellate attorney filed a motion for a new trial. The motion for a new trial, which would be the fourth trial attempt if granted, alleged that the verdict “is contrary to the law & the evidence.” The motion said that after Fulbright’s trial for murder, the second attempt, ended in a mistrial, he was re-indicted again, this time for capital murder, the offense for which he was ultimately convicted & sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. According to the motion, the decision to prosecute Fulbright on increased charges “violates due process when criminal charges are brought in retaliation for the defendant’s exercise of his legal rights.” The motion is set to be heard by 97th Judicial District Judge Trish Coleman Byars on 5/6/25 @ 2:30pm.
*Sarah Elizabeth Newsom (23/now 29) “mom” – Announcement hearing on 11/10/25.
