To this date, I don't think YS has ever taken responsibility for her actions. Not exactly a good look for an inmate wanting to make parole! JMO...

I just watched that docu series on Oxygen. No she has never taken responsibility- she has so many cockamamee stories- all a lot of BS like she shot Selena accidentally. sure she did. All of her ranting against Selena's father; there is no proof that he slashed her tires, etc. She keeps maintaining the shooting of Selena was an accident when evidence is to the contrary. As long as she refuses to accept responsibility for what she did she will be denied parole. Personally, I hope she rots in prison. There was a lot of discussion as to whether she really embezzled money from Selena's business as she was never prosecuted for this. From my perspective, she probably did embezzle, but that is not the primary issue: the issue is that she shot and murdered Selena in cold blood.

I believe Selena arranged to meet with YS to collect financial documents she needed about her boutique and fan club for her taxes when she was shot by YS.

YS allegedly tried stalling here--including telling Selena she'd been raped hours earlier. Family has long alleged the docs would reveal YS had been embezzling funds from Selena, and that she shot her to keep from being exposed. I agree that YS probably had been stealing, and the gig was up. JMO

After watching this documentary I came away with the impression of Yolanda as evil. She told so many lies, like the alleged rape which likely never happened and her lies about Selena's father trying to harm her--not withstanding her denying the embezzlement. Of course her biggest lie was
That she didnt mean to shoot Selena.

The day Selena was murdered, my kids and I spent hours watching live coverage of Yolanda Saldivar with a gun to her head. The standoff lasted nine hours!

I've read a book and saw several documentaries and dragged my daughter to the Selena movie.

Let's face it, if I'm gonna watch her with a gun to her head for nine hours....

She belongs where she is.
