No, I *believe* that was a self-described facebook journalist (Omair). This interview is in mainstream media (though Indian), so is fair game as far as I know. Fr Thomas' previous comments have been discussed when interviewed by American journalists at the home of WM.
Is this guy considered MSM? It seems odd if so. Anyone could claim these things. This isn't directed at you, I just think it's inappropriate to go off of this video as fact.

It's great if LE can find out where the family vehicle went in the hour it was gone. The only way that won't help is if the father handed the little girl off to someone else he might have met up with in a vehicle. Perhaps someone he was very close to? And i can't think anyone else would want to implicate themselves in a crime against a child if that is what happened. Wonder if there is a missing phone along with the missing little girl where he could of called that person for help?

I would really hope this is the case (its still possible), if the person doesn't want to get in trouble they could always drop her off in the middle of a shopping center, or outside a fire/police station, hospital, etc...

Was Sherin's mom named a POI? Why is it okay to sleuth her and discuss it here?
I'm wondering this, too! What is going on??

The rules regarding victims are here:

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is relevant to the case.

The "victim friendly" rule extends to the family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, and others who have not been designated as suspects is not allowed. Don't make random accusations, suggest their involvement, nor bash and attack them. Posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public -- is not allowed. That does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media.*

I think this would include discussing her profession.

Do we know the ages of each parent?
I don't think we can discuss mom's age. Let's not get the thread shut down.

Backtrack from my post a bit by clicking on the little arrow-box after my name in the post to see the context of this discussion. (I agree, Omair is not a MSM journalist source.)

I agree. I'm talking about the priest.

I think there's an age limit on the Safe Haven Law, if that's what you're referring to.

Edit, I guess not. Haha. I understand what you mean. Yes, they could, although eventually I'm sure they would be caught. Unfortunately, and I hope I'm wrong, I don't think she was passed off.

The priest (Father Thomas) has been interviewed by MSM in America as well as India. His comments have been discussed in the thread(s) before. Doesn't make him an expert, just makes him fair conversational thread fodder as it is in MSM.

Off topic, but thank you so much for that hint about tracking discussions. This was NEW to me, and I've been around WS for years! Awesome. :)

Yeah, a good lawyer would advise against a polygraph. Many states do not allow polygraph results in court as they are not reliable. Where they are useful to LE, however, is to pick up on possible areas of discomfort that can be used as leverage. In questioning they may tell a suspect that the "know" s/he is lying about something based on the polygraph and try to shake loose some new information. Police are not prohibited from lying, as I recall. They can misrepresent in all kinds of ways in order to scare, confuse or pressure a suspect.
I agree about the polygraph test, though I would never be against one, personally. I think you missed my point with the posting. I was just showing that the parents haven't been cooperative, because I had been questioned with being wrong. I do hope things have changed in the last 3 days, and that at least one parent decides to speak with LE, or help to their best ability. I would love nothing more than Sherin to be found alive. Being realistic, I just want her found at this point. She's just so precious.

Exploring the car tracking rabbit hole tonight.
First this: http://www.businessinsider.com/can-cops-use-gps-to-convict-you-of-a-crime-2014-1
Every company the report looked at admitted that they do collect location data from vehicles to provide information like turn-by-turn directions.
The companies themselves collect the data, and LE can get the data from the companies. I didn't know that!

Regarding On Star, and how the service has revealed that they collect data on anyone, even after they cancel the service. https://gizmodo.com/5842317/onstar-...nd-location-even-when-you-cancel-your-service from the comments:
they could potentially release such information if you were involved in a crime, to prove where your vehicle was or wasn't.

MUST read article about cars solving crimes. It's about the software and hardware this company has developed to access car data. Seems like it is pretty quick once they have the part from the car (they do need to remove it) Haven't finished it, so not sure if it will answer our question about how long it will take for FBI to get data back. https://www.msab.com/download/case_studies/MSAB-BERLA-Article.pdf

I'm sorry if this has been covered ( I had to back away from all this, it was getting to be too much) but earlier someone posted a link to the Texas Nursing License site and I was able to find a Sini Mathews with current RN and LVN licenses. Is that not her??

The request has been made from WS admin to step back from sleuthing victim's family who have not been charged with any crimes (i.e. mom).

If she's not working at the moment, how are they living a seemingly quite comfortable lifestyle with 2 small kids and a decent house, multiple cars etc? Perhaps they aren't as financially well off as it seems on the outside but still, it's curious. Wesley must have a very well paid job I suppose

They showed pictures of WM's parents home in India. I would say there's a lot of money in the family and WM gets help from his parents.

Earlier it was being discussed and so I thought nothing of it. I saw the message and tried to delete my post, but sadly I couldn't. I apologize to all.
